How about trading CD?

The reason I say this is he whined and carried on about the last playoff game against Green Bay. He was responsible because he didn't perform well either. I saw him drop a couple right in his hands or let's say some catchable passes. He moaned and whined about Dak's performance when he should have been supporting Dak. I don't believe that a Michael Irving would have reacted in that manner, do you?The whole team played bad. Disfunction at its worst.
They will be a contender as long as the have a healthy Lamb, Parsons, Ferguson, and Dak.

Not at what he is going to cost. Trade him to the bears for their number 9 pick. Draft Brian Thomas jr
The best comment GM Jethro made all off season was when he said Holistically. That gave me some hope, that maybe he is interested in actually building a team and not just have 3 Superstars.

Superstars are great on a rookie contract and they are great when you trade them.

you should be banned! - just kidding

CeeDee is the most talented player on the team, and you want to trade him away? Come on!

He is the top priority on signing to a new contract. Then Parsons.

They are the only 2 players on the team that are top 5 in their positions in the NFL.

and

I'd trade Brandon Aubrey. Let's go all in.
Yeah that will solve the cap problems.

This all depends on what your vision of the team is. We could trade CD and get a 15-20 slot first round pick and maybe an additional 3rd.
Jerry does not want to build a SB winner, he just wants to go about and be status quo. We should trade Micha, CD and Dak. Cut Lawrence.
Draft young guys and start from scratch, it resets the window and clears the cap.
I personally think this never happens and Jerry does not have the guts or skills to do this.

If I could trade Ceedee for two 1st, I would do it. Then I would trade Micah for another 2 and then start rebuilding. And I love both of them but paying those two 60 million a year is not getting you to the Super Bowl. It will sell tickets and jerseys so that is why Jerry will do it but we are not getting anywhere with that scenario!

Well if you're gonna blow it all the way up, throw Martin in there. Won't happen.

We have zero priorities. That is why nothing is getting done. GM Jethro is procrastinating. He is frustrated, has self-doubt on his decision making, and/or is finally bored with the Cowboys.

Either way it is not a good look for an Owner/GM.

We know there is conflicting opinions in the organization on how to move forward. So we are lacking Leadership at the highest level.

Organizations with conflicting opinions make changes in their leadership team. We know the HC does not have a say, so this is clearly Jones vs Jones problem.

Most recent interview first question was asked Jerry started to talk and Stephen immediately spoke over him.

It is time to pass the torch for better or for worse.

A contender to win 10-12 games during the regular season, yes. I agree with you. And that is nothing to sneeze at. But the team is not a true contender to advance deep into the playoffs - Super Bowl.

I 100% agree. $60M over 4 or maybe even 5 years ($240M to $300M) is a lot of money for 2 players.

I am hopeful that this where the Holistic comment came from. I think Stephen sees it.

Any team with double digit wins can be a true contender and advance deep into the playoffs.

This is why waiting to pay Lamb is the stupidest idea:

Amon Ra St Brown is not a top 5 WR. It’s even arguable whether or not Amon Ra St Brown is a top 10 WR. Amon Ra St Brown just unnecessarily made CeeDee Lamb that much more expensive.

What do you base your opinion on?

You may have to throw in next years 2nd round to entice the bears to take the trade but I would still do it

It's the agent that holds it up.

GM Jethro has built this team to make the playoffs. Not to make a run in the playoffs.

That requires long term vision. Not a year to year plan.
