Pretty cheeky for someone with 451 posts to his 25k... And wrong to boot. Theo is a voice of reason around here. One of the few.

Ok Wade's leaving..it's over now... -- no offense but is there anyone MORE WRONG on this forum than you? You have to have like a 1 out of 1000 record for being right about things in all the posts I've read. LOL!

He has two years left on his contract. Is there some rule that all coaches need at least three years on their contract?

Wade isn't going anywhere this year.

He has one year left on his contract. He orginally signed a 3 year deal. Again, how can Wade garner the reapect of the players when they know he has zero job security. Look at what happened to the seahawks this year. The palyers knew before the season begin that holmgren was gone and they went into the tank. Parcells always wanted an extension going into his last year of his contract.

Mike Shannahan = head coach
Dom Capers = Defensive Coordinator
John "Chucky" Gruden = Offensive coordinator
Mike Solaris = Offensive line coach

Any remaining position coaches that need to be filled would be up to Capers for defense, Shannahan and Gruden for offense.

I'd take it :D

It had a 4th year option. Whether it's 5 years or 1 year with another year extension doesn't matter. He doesn't need an extension to be back in 2010.

Stealth is my kind of poster, where is he?
He lurks. I wish he'd come back, and he knows that. Hope he will when he feels the time is right.

Tell him I'm ready to sing "God must have spent a little more time on you" for him if it means he'll be back.

Did Gruden get fired?

It is so obvious to the whole world that Wade is in over his head. Dallas Cowboy fans are some of the best in the world, we deserve better then Mr Gump.

Today man. Raheem Morris is the HC and there's a new GM too.

Saw that.

Rheem Morris over Jon Gruden.
There must have been some serious personality clashes going on for the owner to fire one and replace with the other.:laugh2:

So...are they cutting Wade off at the knees? I don't think he'd have a hard time filling those positions but it's certainly odd that the staff is falling apart while the head man sits there...and now that Shanahan and Gruden are sitting out there....yikes.

I think Wade survives this because he knows this is it for him. He can move to DC, retire in a year or two, stay out of the limelight and look back at his career and get out with a clean break.

The coaching carousel is just unbelievable this year.
