Ok Wade's leaving..it's over now... -- no offense but is there anyone MORE WRONG on this forum than you? You have to have like a 1 out of 1000 record for being right about things in all the posts I've read. LOL!

Dude, I disagree with Theogt more than anyone on this forum. But I never disrespect him like you just did. Folks like theo make this board great.

Agreed. Theo and I disagree at times ( I think we agree more then we disagree though), but he knows his football.

here is an idea.

Since we have the young brett favre...

Problem is that Romo isn't all that young anymore by NFL standards. Remember that Aikamn had 3 rings by the same age, and that is after a 1-15 start.

I am now officially on the John Gruden bandwagon (for OC).

Stewart gone. His name is already off the DC.com website.

Reggie Herring likely gone to Oklahoma State.

Jason Garrett gone to the Rams tomorrow. Probably taking John Garrett, Hudson Houck, and Wade Wilson with him.

Read already gone.

This leaves Ray Sherman, Skip Peete and Wesley Phillips on the Offensive side.

Todd Grantham, Dave Campo, Brett Maxie, and Dat Nguyen on the Defensive side.

The phones at Valley Ranch have got to be white hot tonight.

Why would he not last???

Not a single guy leaving was his guy anyway.
BTW, I do think Herring stays here.

And they wanted to a new offensive staff so Garrett leaving doesn't hurt much at all. Wade doesn't touch that side of the ball and defense is covered by Wade and Campo. I do think they'll try to hire Capers but if not Campo can be DC and run Wade's system same as Stewart did.

Offense will probably go to Ray Sherman and he'll put together a staff.

I don't see this as anything except good for Wade.

Mike Shannahan = head coach
Dom Capers = Defensive Coordinator
John "Chucky" Gruden = Offensive coordinator
Mike Solaris = Offensive line coach

Any remaining position coaches that need to be filled would be up to Capers for defense, Shannahan and Gruden for offense.
I hate the smell of heartache in the morning...

The timing of this makes me think that they've got a DC lined up. Why wait until now to can Stewart? They could have had Campo all along and done this alongside of Read. I expect JJ was trying to line something solid up first. At least that's my hope...

Jerry never does anything without having a plan first.

How in the world could this be good for him? Both of his Coordinators are now gone. More of his staff is sure to go. Campo has no 3-4 experience except last year and DBs are hardly affected in the nuances. Sherman is TOs buddy. I respect him as a football guy, but don't want him as the OC.

If we improve without making some major changes it would be a miracle.

There might be something to that -- if so, it is probably Capers then as we are trying to get him before Garrett does.

I agree Hos, this is very bad news for Wade.

Garrett was his lifeline and now that is gone.

Wade should be sweating bullets right now.

Had we not gotten throttled to the tune of 44-6 in a win and you're in game - I would feel sorry for him.

I don't get it either

Maybe Jerry is wanting to see who all will be available

If he had made a swift move right when the season was over, then he could of miss out on shanahan and gruden

I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt

So...are they cutting Wade off at the knees? I don't think he'd have a hard time filling those positions but it's certainly odd that the staff is falling apart while the head man sits there...and now that Shanahan and Gruden are sitting out there....yikes.
They're not cuting him off at the knees, none of these were his guys anyway. We all know that Jerry hired the coaching staff.

I think the idea that Wade can't survive is wishful thinking. Believe me, I'll do the dance of joy if Wade goes, but Jerry has a stubborn streak and sticks to his guns. He's going to fill out the assistant positions individually.

As to Chucky, I'd love to have him, but he's going to land as a HC somewhere.

After seeing all the things Jerry Jones has put this team through in the 15 years since Jimmy left, I find myself not caring much about what he or his team does.

It's not my problem; it's his and history says he will not solve it.

I expect more of the same. It's like watching in slow motion as a huge freeway crash involving hundreds of cars slowly unfolds. It is a big long disaster.

That roar we've been hearing in the background the last decade is millions of NFL fans laughing at Jerry Jones and ridiculing him and his team and it is getting louder every year. Where has the respect gone?
