Jets are the most overhyped team going into this season.
Ask us after tomorrow night.Obviously, the Jets have a better QB than the Giants. Beyond that, I don't have much insight into our next opponent.
So, in what ways do you expect the Jets to be better/worse than the Giants?
1. They have a quarterback not only with more accuracy, but insane mental acuity for the game. Aaron can see something and take advantage. I suspect the league will take much more effort to protect Aaron by ignoring offensive line holding. The league wants the Rodgers narrative to thrive awhile. They don't want him hurt! It's good media business and NY City is a massive market w/lots of gamblers. This last part cannot be ignored, and will play a big part in the game, I predict. The Jets are gonna hold and mug our pass rushers like mad, with a free pass from refs.Obviously, the Jets have a better QB than the Giants. Telling you that’s what I was thinkingWe will see how they look tomorrow night. And that may not even tell us much.
How do you prepare for a team who can rush the passer from anywhere on the field. And probably have the best blitzing secondary in the nfl. When you got around 10 players deep in the secondary and still got Lewis one of the best slot cbs in the nfl still injured you got crazy depth who shouldn't be scared of any wr group in the nfl. Then add in an insane passrush makes it easier for this team. Then you got Damone Clark who has the range to eat anything inside and the speed to chase it down outside makes this defense crazy effective. Nfl watch out. The 2 best teams Sunday were the Cowboys and Niners by far. Oct 8 is going to be insaneI'm sure you're right, plus we're not going to sneak up on the Jets after they saw what we did with the Giants, they'll have an idea what to expect and they'll prepare accordingly. Nevertheless, we DO have a good defense, so the Jets better be ready for it.
They have a top 5 defense and Aaron Rodgers, a true #1 WR G. Wilson and two good RB's Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook.Obviously, the Jets have a better QB than the Giants. Beyond that, I don't have much insight into our next opponent.

You never really know what's going to happen. Hopefully we can do to AR what we did to Tom Brady after losing to Tom time after time after time. Our D beat him up for 4 quarters. If the D can stay grounded, we should give AR a hard time.Obviously, the Jets have a better QB than the Giants. Beyond that, I don't have much insight into our next opponent.

The first drive for the Giants was a feeling out process for our defense. Once the Cowboys figured out what the Giants wanted to do it was game over. Once Dallas went up 16-0 the game was over. The Giants are not that bad. Our defense is just that good. The Jets will do a much better job taking advantage of the Cowboys' speed and aggression on defense, kind of like the NYG first drive, I'd think. Rodgers doesn't have the legs but they'll do a better job designing the quick hitters.
The problem is that the quick hitters make it impossible to sustain any sort of offense, I'm not sure how the Jets solve that without way better pass blocking.
A bit, yea. The way the Giants were moving the ball was unsustainable for sure, but taking a lead there would have changed the whole complexion of the game. The first drive for the Giants was a feeling out process for our defense.
