Better than the Giants. On both sides of the ball.

I expect them to have their way with us.

Stoked for the game though.
A bit, yea. The way the Giants were moving the ball was unsustainable for sure, but taking a lead there would have changed the whole complexion of the game.

I do think the Giants are that bad though. Their skill position players are awful.
I think we have to give every teams 4 games to see how good they can be but the Giants certainly were overrated by the media.

The Jets have a better secondary than the Giants by far. In fact, their defense overall is much better.

The Jets OL is suspect, maybe even more than the Giants.
The Jets have better receivers than the Giants.
The Jets are better coached than the Giants. I don't think they will make the mistakes the Giants made.
Aaron Rodgers seems to find a way to beat the Cowboys no matter what players he plays with.
You trust the Jets coaches over the Giants? The Jets have not had a winning season since their coach was hired and you know what the league thinks of their offensive coordinator.

Obviously, the Jets have a better QB than the Giants. Beyond that, I don't have much insight into our next opponent.

So, in what ways do you expect the Jets to be better/worse than the Giants?
More fire power power skill position wise. Line is equally shaky. There is talent there, but you also point the the Giants having an All Pro LT.

I think we should command the game, but I think the Jets difference in skill player talent means it won't like be nearly as lopsided. Daniel Jones is basically a combination of Buffalo's version of Tyrod talent wise with Drew Bledsoe's field awareness.

Add to that his WR's are all #3's at best, and Dallas and Philadelphia can be blood bath games for them. Both teams can single cover every WR on their roster and do what they want on the front 7

This offense who's not battle tested yet could be in for a dog fight with the Jets.

The Jets didn't have a QB last year and had some injuries. But if you watched them play they are a well coached team, especially on defense.

I really want this revenge. We finally got ours vs Brady. Football Gods please let this guy be next.

I’ll be curious for the all 22 scouts here to tell us just how good the coverage was. If Aaron can’t get off quick throws because of it his mental and physical health will suffer.

Are you retired from your breakdowns? Hopefully not because they are great for the site.

I’d love to know just how good the coverage was via the all 22.

how can you ask us to compare when we haven't seen the jets play a real game?? let's watch the game tonight should be a good litmus test for them.. but right now they're the most overhyped dream team scenario on paper.... now they have to go prove it...

yes but if they're offensive coordinator has to have a GP to use those 2 running backs a lot in that defense.... seriously they would be dumb to just let AR sit back there against this pass rush. if their egos get in the way but they would be smart to run run run play d and then let aaron take over later with PA pass chunk yards,.. if their ego gets in the way and the.... rodgers they're gonna get in trouble.

but right now the new york jets are overhyped paper champions ever for the offseason... now they're gonna have to prove it game one against the bills great test.., normally i wouldn't watch the whole ....e that had no bearing on our schedule ,however ILL scouting this game just to see how the jets play..

I expect the Jets to offer a far better performance than what our guys saw in the Giants last night.
Here's hoping we'll present our "A" game! Rodgers can be counted upon to test us again. :omg:

For one, I'm encouraged by the idea that our new and improved secondary may test him, as well.

Can the run the ball? If not, they are in trouble. The Jets OC better be coming up with a plan to have Aaron get the ball out quick. No way will the majority of the teams we play this season will have enough time to do a 5 step drops.

Jets are stacked and have a HOF QB.

The Jets biggest perceived weakness going into week one is their offensive line. That's not good for them, although Rodgers is more apt to throw it away than try to run.
But part of that perceived weakness was injuries (or at least that was potentially part of the problem). IF they have a decent Oline, they have all the tools to keep a D honest. On D, they were stout last year.

anxious to see them tonight.

I was legit SHOCKED at how well the Dallas OLine was able to hold up against the NYGiants DLine: Robinson, Lawrence, Williams, Thibodeaux,

0 Sacks, 3 QBHits (vs 7 sacks & 12 QBHits for Dallas)

BUT the NYGiants Defense wasn't wholly bad. Dallas was 6/13 on 3rd down. Not great. Maybe the weather though...we'll see
