Regarding Kitna (from https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/cowboys-new-oc-hire-to-come-from-within):

"On top of that, having coached at the high school level, he has familiarity with some of the newer concepts in offensive football being popularized by the likes of Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson and Chicago Bears coach Matt Nagy."

Are we being trolled? WHAT IS HAPPENING? WHAT IS THIS.

This is a true statement. For example when the Longhorns were doing very well nearly every team in the state was running their offense. This is 2 fold. On one hand this gives the kids a chance to show how they can contribute in the offense and for coaches it shows how they can execute the latest college scheme.

Then why not hire an art teacher to redesign the Dallas Cowboys logo? All the kids at school know how to color.

This is just spin from on top to overcome the fact that Kitna has a light resume. So play up some weird angle that he's going to bring high school concepts to the NFL like Nagy and Pederson.

Which is bogus anyway. Nagy and Pederson didn't really bring high school concepts to the NFL. They both learned under an offensive mastermind in Andy Reid. Funny how Helman and others forget to mention that Kitna has worked under no real coaching legend while Nagy and Pederson did (and Pederson even played under Reid).

Common sense tells us you nor I nor Helman knows what it takes to make a good NFL coach. Just let it go and be mellow.

Not that it matters, but his feet don't touch the ground if he's sitting in a chair, he sometimes comes across as very enthused and overall I kinda want to poke at him a little.

I wonder how many days he runs the 40 in.
