How long do you think players have felt this way about Dak?

Parsons needs to look in the mirror. He is the 'Dak' of this defense, except all he does is run his mouth on twitter and his podcast. The first play he ever makes in the playoffs will be his first. Skip Bayless was right about him, all he will do is run to his podcast to talk crap and whine. And Parsons got defensive and lashed out. He's corny as can be.

Parsons or any player on this team has zero room to talk. Amari Cooper is soft and has did zero when it mattered. Ceedee Lamb is Cooper 2.0. The list goes on.
Parsons is a generational talent and to call him the Dak of this defense is an insult. A whole offense plans for Parsons, while an opposing defense isn’t in any way threatened of Dak like an offense is of Parsons.

How long do you think these players and their families have had this resentment towards Dak? Is it just because of the playoff game(s), or were there issues kept on hush during the season, and the playoff game was the final straw?? If this has been brewing for some time, what can be done to calm it??
Dak has a good demeanor with his teammates. His teammates look up to him because he is the supposed leader in the locker room.

He has to many "friends" on the team that won't tell him what they need or want. However, when players start getting uncomfortable with the leader of the team it starts to come out.

I can't imagine what the other players on the team are thinking...but won't talk about it.

I would imagine it gets old for everyone when Dak is a complete non-factor for the first half in most of his playoff starts.

I have no idea what kind of guy he is. Most accounts talk about him being well-liked, but who knows.

These attacks aren’t personal about his character. They’re about his lackluster play in the postseason.

how long has the loser been on the team? well, that's how long. His fake good guy leader BS has been old for a while.
Get used to it...next season, he will be in the best shape of his life. It's a young man's game...

One more year...then another, and another, then one more. Give Dak time to make a dime, got to fill that bag. Hell, yes!

All that moxie, just threw a god awful pick to end their season. But hey, moxie, right? Moxie means zero if you aren't winning.

Dak's teammates have zero room to talk. Paper thin tigers when the playoffs roll around, every single year.
You are right about Daks teammates. But as QB, shouldn't he be leading the team to something more?

Bakers team overachiever this year. How did Daks team do?

Hey, at least Dak fights out on the field until the last second ticks. Which other player can you say did the same against the Packers? None of these players, much less their families, have a right to be yapping.

Players know it's better not to talk about their teammates, so you don't hear a lot. However, the mutterings and signs have been pretty blatant.
Exactly
We see only the tip of the “iceberg”
Only players such as CD, Micah....with enough standing can take a chance of speaking out.
They saw what happened to Amari...shipped out quik
Other players keep quiet....need to make dime

Let me ask you a question. What player on this roster has ANY room to feel ANY way about Dak Prescott? Who has done ANYTHING in the playoffs to feel a way about Dak. What we have seen in these games so far this weekend is offenses starting slow BUT having defenses and running games to keep them in games until the offenses figure it out.

If Dak goes it will be interesting to see how the players who left will blame for any time the rest of the team including themselves puts out no effort in a playoff game. All they'll do is refuse to take accountability amongst themselves and point fingers at other the next time they have a bad loss in a big game and Dak isn't around.

Maybe Parsons now sees that he'll never have to take accountability for how badly his side of the ball plays in a big game. As long as he knows some fans will be okay with him and other on the team putting all of the blame on Dak. If the belief is that he and others on the team are bashing Dak to their family member and are placing the Cowboys postseason failures all on one player.

For a while IMO

But they saw what happened to Dez. And Amari. And so on. They're terrified to criticize Jerry's Kid

So they've been afraid to show it publicly

What I'm curious about is what's changed. Was the GB game the final straw? It's as though they are at the point where they see how sickeningly horrible Dak was vs GB and they feel they have to say something even if it costs them their job at the Frisco Country Club

Another great point. Entire offence play calling is set up to stop Micah doing his thing.. double teams, triple teams, play action, quick routes, hot reads, flow splits.. everything all about keeping Micah ineffectual.

Meanwhile.. whole defense is structured around stopping the run, keep Dak throwing it.. then take away CeeDee and watch him implode.

It really is comical how little they fear Dak. Said in other threads but how many guys are calling out Micah after the game? How many laughing in his face? How many team mates calling him a litle B?

he said it, but did we know it was from him, and that he was actually talking about dak?? This right here is just going too far, but maybe it's needed
Cooper never said that. Thats a blatant falsehood. I can't trust anything the poster says after presenting that bs as a fact. Clown post.

That's one possibility

The other possibility is, if they finally get that me first cancer Prescott out of the locker room, then rest of the team bands together and we finally have a real team instead of a collection of individuals

What makes you think that they will if they refuse to take accountability for their own bad play and by the reasoning of this posts are blaming Dak for how badly they played in this game or in other games? How do you know they won't be avoiding accountability and pointing fingers at the next Cowboys QB to come in?

This is all about whether or not players choose to look at themselves for how badly they played for the sake of improving this team. Otherwise Dak being gone will change nothing if players have "It's all one guys fault and I don't have to work as an individual player so that we as a team or defense can have a better showing the next time we're in the postseason."

I don't know that

But my opinion is, it would improve the locker room chemistry

Unfortunately we'll never know because Jerry is going to do what any alcoholic egomaniac GM would do and pay Dak the richest contract ever
