Then why not just say that instead of knocking the kid for something that’s inaccurate.
I don’t think he is a first round pick but I understand better why some of you guys like him. Guys like Burden to me you draft in the middle rounds and develop.

I just don’t think are staff would use him properly.
Fine you don’t like the player, but some of what you are saying makes zero sense: won’t start on this team? You think 1 catch Tolbert is better? Won’t use him right? Does MM give Lamb carries, screens to get the ball in his hands? Not an elite route runner? Tell me who is on this current roster?

Fans who won’t believe there is a need for another receiver aren’t watching this offense. They were one of the worst in the league with our starting qb this season. Lamb is elite, but good dc’s will gameplan to take him out. You also need a run game teams respect

We said dak hasn't done anything with elite receivers when it matters. Do you disagree with that?

He has played with 1 elite receiver in Lamb. Defense has to be fixed too, but the offense isn’t good enough in this present state.

So amari cooper didn't play with lamb for 3 years? Pass game still looked terrible when it mattered. Again, do you disagree with that?

Cooper was never an elite receiver and disappeared on the road, he is now on his 4th team. Cowboy offense did well against every team except the 49ers who had their number and were an excellent defense.

I don’t disagree we have to fix our defense but our offense cannot compete as constructed against the top teams. We are dead last in the red zone on both sides of the football, have to figure out that to have success.

So burden is the upgrade to amari cooper? Alright man. Yall got it. Keep giving Dakota receivers.

Believe they had 1 full season together when they were all healthy…and that was arguably Daks best season in addition to last year.

When it mattered, if you’re referencing the SF game, the OL completely self destructed. 2.5 YPC, 10+ pressures allowed etc…bad day for the O as a whole.

Like I said, yall got it. I just hope Jerry knows a receiver won't help dak 1 bit in the playoffs.

Burden is a good compliment to Lamb. He is an excellent run after the catch receiver and teams will be single covering him as they look to take away Lamb

Well I see who you want the Cowboys to draft. You must think he is a young OBJ. We will see very soon.

Players like him aren’t available in mid rounds…but if you just don’t like him that’s fine, we all have our opinions.
Plenty of 600 yard SEC receivers will be available in the middle rounds.

He is a different type of receiver, more of a modern type. Believe you would rather the Ohio state guy as he is more traditional route runner type. Still prefer a DT, but also see a huge hole opposite Lamb

I want BPA. I think the Ohio State kid is better than Burden but I wouldn’t waste a top 15 pick on him either. I have been watching Hunter and I like him but don’t love him. Same with Carter. I am down on this draft overall. Maybe it’s because we won’t get a top 10 pick but nobody is doing it for me.

I’d use more than 1 game as a sample size but to each their own.

I also will never understand how you can look at other NFC rosters and weapons and look at our and be like yea we’re good.

I don’t understand your hate on Burden, he is a yac monster like Lamb. Pierce does play the run in college, he is going to in the pros? Walker isn’t a high level run defender, he is more of a pass rusher
Pearce will. His only real problem early on will be weight, but if he doesnt every run down he will hold up. Other than size he is a very good run defender. He will probably be 265 by his 2nd or 3rd year

Pearce will be fine against the run…he’s going to have to add bulk but he has the frame to easily get up to 255-260 without losing a step.

I heard a Randy Gregory comp and I loved it. Randy got huge when he got to Dallas but was about the same size in college.

yea put Cooper on the 2022 team and we beat San fran. Right. There's no convincing people like you so get the receiver and start blaming the oline and run game again. Rinse repeat. You got it
