AFTER 4 straight losses!
Is Shanny going to last till we play the deadskins again? Now how do all you guys that wanted to hire this old man feel?

To be fair, he's a good coach in an impossible situation. Nobody could win with that team as it stand snow.

I agree.

Commanders are that hot flash team that everyone wants to get behind. I think this is like the 3rd year this has happened to them.

The Giants are #1 in the NFC East right now by 2 games, but they barely skid past the Pats, and needed 3 tom brady turnovers to do it.

They have the 49ers, eagles, new orleans, packers, cowboys, Commanders, jets, dallas...

That is about as hard as schedules get... All they are missing is the ravens or steelers...

The EASIEST game left on their schedule is the Commanders, who have a pretty legit defense...

Isn't he the one putting it together though?

He passed on Newton, Ponder and Gabbert in favor of going with Beck and Grossman as his QBs.

Was a good coach! I think the game has passed him by, otherwise he still had some good players in Denver to work with! He couldn't get it done there either.

I guess, but it sure doesn't look like he has a good plan regarding finding the qb.

McNabb followed by this debacle?

all I can say is.....:lmao:

Never liked that guy and I am glad he is failing in WAS. It all stems back from him messing with injury reports when he was in DEN which effected my fantasy football lineups at the time. LOL

Well Mike Lombardi, 'football expert', said they would win the division. BTW has anyone seen that guy lately. Seemed like he has disappeared from NFLN.

He didnt pass on Newton.....nobody did. He went #1

Did anyone see his post-game interview? Maybe it's the Skins colors but this guy's face was a completely unnatural shade of red.

And he was 3-1 until he lost every single offensive weapon he had and two starting linemen. Their best offensive weapon right now is Fred Davis.

My bad, you're right. I guess I should say he passed on Ponder.

Even Andy Dalton would be better than what he has.

Did you seriously think Rex Grossman or John Beck was going to carry on that initial success throughout the entire season? I sure didn't.

Grossman is an apple turnover waiting to happen. Beck is trying to find a way to stick around in this league.

BTW, they've beaten the Rams and the Cards. They did grab a good victory over the Giants in the season opener.

Exactly. No one willing to truthfully examine the Commanders from the outside looking in could seriously give them any chance of doing anything with their lack of decent quality quarterbacks. Either Shanahan was unbelievably conceited to think that his system could resurrect the career of a player who never was much to begin with in Grossman, or he knew that Year 3 was going to be the season where he went after a QB either in the draft or in FA. I'm thinking it may have been a combination of the two.

What does standing in snow have to do with winning in Washington?

:D
