These posts crack me up. Who was predicting a Superbowl after a week 3 loss in Dallas? There are plenty of us fans who post on this site, so it shouldn't be hard to find

I live in Northern Virginia.

You guys certainly weren't hard to find. Now they can't keep you guys in your seats at FedEx :laugh1:

Edit: your own running back said you were going to the Super Bowl! Your quarterback said you'd win the NFC East!

Come on! Seriously! You're a level-headed guy and I like you a lot but even you've got to know how ridiculous your own fanbase can be sometimes (and ours too).

I searched for the post, but couldn't find it. He probably deleted it because it was so pathetically misinformed.

Amazing that Vince Tobin didn't get more coaching kudos considering he took JAKE PLUMMER to the 2nd round of the playoffs in 1998, and that was just JAKE PLUMMERS second year as a starter in the NFL.

Still, that was a great coaching feat for Shanny 8-9 years ago. No doubt.

Yeah, as I recall the Cards had a pretty easy opponent that year too :)

Shanny also had Denver sitting fairly pretty talent wise before he was canned and it was ripped apart by a Jim Zornian Josh McDaniels:

QB: Cutler
RBs: Hillis and Torain
WRs: Marshall and Royal
OL was pretty solid as well, as I recall.

I think he's done a good job upgrading the Commanders defense. This offseason he'll upgrade the offense...

Even at 3-1, I didn't think we were making the playoffs. I still thought we were an 8-8/7-9 team. Now decimated by injuries on the offensive side, John Beck being worse than I could have possibly imagined.

However this team is improving. We are still a few players/offseasons away from real competition. Anyone who tells you differently is lying or trying to sell you something.

AFTER 4 straight losses!
Is Shanny going to last till we play the deadskins again? Now how do all you guys that wanted to hire this old man feel?
What time is it?

Just a question,if you take away the elway years, what has this guy done and dont forget, when he took over denver, they were already a SB team.:star:

He went to the playoffs four consecutive years with Jake Plummer at QB. Yes, THAT Jake Plummer.

Fielded some competitive teams, but never won a Super Bowl. Same as:

Landry less Staubach
Shula less Marino
Parcells less Simms
Madden less Stalber

Better than:

Belichick less Brady
Jimmy less Aikman
Lombardi less Starr
Noll less Bradshaw
Walsh less Montana

Come on, man.

Andy Dalton was the one guy they liked, however, someone drafted him right before the Skins picked in the second round.

Skins likely end up with Barkley or MG3 - knowing us, we'll miss on the pick.

Shula didnt win a SB with marino and i still say his SBs in denver were more kubiac than shanny.

Shanahan is not the problem. It's the offense. No running game, both quarterbacks are horrible, and they have no weapons on the outside. The Skins defense is very good, but offensively they just are not explosive at all.

MS picked the players on his team and yes his QB's are terrible but those are the QB's he hand picked including McFlabb. As for their D, no it isn't good. They can't stop the run and they NEVER make stops when they need too and their secondary is awful. I haven't missed a Foreskin game in years cause I live here and they're on every week. They are a terrible team with very little talent and MS is responsible for that talent..

To be fair, he's a good coach in an impossible situation. Nobody could win with that team as it stand snow.

The issue is he is a terrible personal man and when he called most the shot in Denver he did a terrible job.

The Mcnabb trade was another example of the stupidity by the Deadskins

They should have went out and rode otu the season and used the draft pick on a QB and they would not be in such a bad state.

They mortgaged their future for what 5-6 years now it is going to take 3-4 years of good drafting to even have a chance

Bingo!!! Eric Wright was on talk radio in DC last week on WTEM and said the exact same thing. Eric played for MS in Denver and San Fran. He said the guy is a good coach but a horrible personnel guy and he said he holds grudges against players who get in to his doghouse..

The Commanders are less talented than the Rams and probably the Dolphins too.

They are definitely less talented than the Colts.

Fair to say they are the least talented team in the league.

If they aren't, they're darn close to it. I watch them every week and they are absolutely horrible...
