I have a feeling dallas will not stay put this draft. We will move up to get who we want...

With as many holes as we have, the draft capital we do have, I think a trade down is more likely.

Next year with the compensatory picks we have coming would make it more conducive to trading up if we felt the need. Of course, we could trade future picks for picks in this draft, but I dislike that idea.

Some good posts in this thread as to why and why not....that is unusual....lol...I haven't seen any the guy is a bum and nothing else posts....lol...these posts have substance....

I want Mailk Hooker, but he will be gone. So hoping Peppers drop to us somehow.
However with all the players getting injured, that chance go down he will drop. I. Mean like Sidney Jones. There were one or two others also. Different positions.

Anyway, right now I would not know which player Tak or Harris to take if there, and Peppers is not. I been saying all along I hope they do not pick Harris. But don't want the injured players either.
I think Harris is undersize and his 40 time was slow in the combine. As all I heard before that was how fast he was.

Heck, I really like OJ Howard at TE, but he won't get to us either.

I really want to use the first two round picks on CB and SS. We don't need an every down DE. We need another piece to the rotation. Once we figure out what we have with Mayowa, Irving, Tapper, DLaw, Moore and possibly even Gregory plus whatever rotational piece we add this year then if we still need a DE we can go for it next year. We might be surprised to find out what we already have is pretty good but needed time to gel.
BPA and I trust the Cowboy scouts. They have hit some huge homeruns recently.

4 qbs will go in the first round. Either 3 or 4 will go before 28. If 4 go, players will drop. If 3 go, teams will want to trade up to get the 4th one.

If they use 2 picks on a player and he ends up a bust like MO and dlaw I'm gonna be pissed.
I don't see any way that they move up. They are in an excellent spot at 28 to move down and get an extra pick in a very deep draft. The 2nd round is very strong for dbs. They can take advantage of this.

I'm not a big fan of his, 6 foot 2 inches, undersized for an NFL defensive end, screams tweener to me, reminds me of Anthony Spencer ...
I agree, which is why I'm kinda puzzled when the writer states "Takk McKinley fits the height, weight, speed, profile that the Cowboys look for in their Right Defensive Ends", which is false, regarding McKinley's size.
