Guess what. If Leupke had shown more in scrimmages and practices the coaches would have played him more in preseason games 1 & 2It wasn't his fault that he saw little to no action the first two (2) games....
Mckeon is a bubble player in his contract year behind 3 TEs with 3+ years left on their contracts. Can someone PLEASE tell me why you would risk losing a contributing Swiss Army Knife in favor of a FOURTH TE (Sean McKeon) who will NEVER see the field??? This is such flawed logic!!!
If so, it is 1 wasted roster for McKeon and 1 wasted roster spot for Lance. Can someone PLEASE tell me why you would risk losing a contributing Swiss Army Knife in favor of a FOURTH TE (Sean McKeon) who will NEVER see the field??? This is such flawed logic!!!
hes just a great football player. U never wanna cut a guy like him. Need guys like that in the locker room.I think Luepke stays. He brings more versatility to the table. The 3 QBs throws a wrench in the plans a little. Should be interesting.
Agreed.hes just a great football player. U never wanna cut a guy like him. Need guys like that in the locker room.
How do you figure? Preseason game time is earned in training camp practice as far as I've ever been aware. It wasn't his fault that he saw little to no action the first two (2) games
Yeah, he was all over the Lance trade. He counts much more than anyone here. Fish spends a lot of time at the Star and does talk to coaches, FO (both on the record and off)
And that's ok but I think the coaches like others more. I also think none of them are a true power back so they better draw up good plays to get whomever the short yards. When they really need a short yardage 1st down, Luepke would be my 1st choice.
When they need good pass protection for Dak, Luepke is a good choice.
I like Dowdle, but I think I like Luepke better.
Hunter is a good receiver and he's a power runner.
What would he have needed to do to impress you?I’m just not seeing it with Leupke. He didn’t do much to impress, IMO, and I can’t see the team keeping on on the 53.
He seems like a practice squad type of guy to me.
I'm not at all convinced the Cowboys are planning to keep McKeon on the 53Can someone PLEASE tell me why you would risk losing a contributing Swiss Army Knife in favor of a FOURTH TE (Sean McKeon) who will NEVER see the field??? This is such flawed logic!!!
