Hurd Couldn't get Separation

Sorry, thought Romo's ability to get the ball to Hurd makes him apart of this discussion.

If that was Hurd's only separation then Romo shouldn't be a part of this.

When you yourself point out that Romo under threw him, then yes he should.

Romo missed Hurd several times and he missed other open recievers as well. It wasn't one of Romo's better games.. It's cool tho, he got the job done..

At least we now know he hurt his finger in the first quarter so there was a reason he seemed a little off his normal game.

Yeah, I heard Witten say that in one of his interviews. Said it was hard for him to grip the wet ball...

Sam Hurd will be on this team next season. Irvin was not fast or quick. Irvin's was a 4.5 -4.6 guy in the forty.

Hurd has speed and quickness, as well as good hands. He is always open in games, it's just that Owens and Witten are Romo's primary options, and that is why he continues to throw Ints, because he tries to force balls to those guys, when he should just look to Hurd, Crayton, Fasano and th other guys, at the times when Witten and Owens are covered rel good by one man, or the coverage has been rolled up to 2 and sometimes 3 men on them.
Romo has had an Int in the past 5 games, and the 4 games before the Jets game his Ints came on forces to Owens and Witten.

Hurd will be on the team next season that is a given. TG, on the other hand, due to his age and injuries, will not put on the Cowboys uniform again, after the Super Bowl, if he puts on the uniform anytime to help us win the SB this season.

Don't use pre-late 90s 40 times. They're not accurate because the players didn't train for them in the same fashion players train today. If Irvin would have trained he could have ran a 4.4 40. It's obvious that he was both fast and quick on the field simply by watching him.

Hurd has speed and quickness
No, he doesn't.

He is always open in games
No, not really.

You have no idea whether he will or not.

Just for clarification. I think he's a really great guy and obviously has a load of talent -- otherwise he wouldn't be in the NFL. It's great that he's caught on and is contributing to the team, particularly being one year removed from being undrafted. That says a tremendous amount about his work ethic and skills that he already possesses. I'm just giving my meaningless opinion on what I perceive to be his only deficit in terms of getting to that next level (i.e., a starting NFL wide receiver).

It's funny you guys are saying he did not get seperation because Wade commented on how he was getting good seperation.

Spaznola says otherwise:laugh1:

Wade has never really put blame on our players, even if its justified.
