They tailed off right around the time Dak came back and started throwing INTs at a fast enough rate to lead the NFL by seasons end.

He knows enough to be dangerous because he does have some sucess on his own......his SBs were heavily dependent on Jimmy.

His gift and his curse were getting those SBs so early in his tenure......he can't do it without Jimmy and the Herschel Walker trade helping him.

Agree 100%....these days I'd settle for a 3rd rounder with some real promise.

They just don't value the position here as much as others.

Why do they not value the position? Teams tank for the position. Teams trade boatloads of picks for the position.

Who in this organization has warped Jerry’s mind into believing the QB position is “just another position” and left tackle or guard is what we need to build around?

The defense that season was playing its best football at the beginning of the year……they tailed off. The most credible team they faced that stretch was the Eagles and Rush was terrible.

We also beat the Bengals too, right? But you're right, he was terrible against the eventual NFC champs. That doesn't mean we couldn't make the playoffs.

Every team had trouble against the Eagles. I don't think we win that game if Dak played. We barely beat them at home, and they started Minshew.

All you need is a couple teams bidding on you and running up the price. A couple teams will be stupid enough to do this.

This is the end goal for Dak.

Jerry won’t get into a bidding war for someone he doesn’t think is with signing before he hits free agency.

They did but Bengals weren’t playing well but still a solid win not trying to belittle it. Solid win for sure I just didn’t think Rush played all that well during that stretch.

It’s hard to say. Dak typically plays well against Philly. Dak barely beat the Eagles but he shredded that defense. Minshew shredded our defense but that wasn’t because of Dak.

If he has a down year most GMs will take into account the roster around him but if he holds serve it will only bolster their confidence in awarding him a big contract

Very good point .......intended or not Jerry has lowered our 2024 season expectation by sitting out free agency.
