I’m not a believer that Pollard is an every down back

Hes wonderful to have but he’s going to get dinged up eventually if we don’t have another complimentary piece. Don’t forget he’s also coming back from a big injury and blocking is not his forte.

While I do agree with Zekes release, we need to invest in an early pick in this years draft. I want a physical runner that punishes defenses like early Zeke, Barber, and Murray. We need some toughness to this team. While I’m sad about Zekes release, the future also excites me
If Cowboys do run more of the WCO, McCarthy has said 30 percent changes on offense I personally think more than 30, then we should expect more swing passes to Pollard and draw plays that are used more often in a WCO as opposed to running between the guards on power running plays

Bell cows hardly exist anymore and the few of them left are a dieing breed. So it's pretty much a non point.

Several posters indicating Pollard sucks at blocking. Was evident his first couple years bht has improved greatly. He rated out as one of the highest pass blockers this year

Biggest repeated fan theme that has proved to be not true.

3rd best pass-block grade from PFF (probably too high, but PFF)

Ok, now show the numerous plays where he looks like a blind matador.

Everybody has highlights. You have to also show the lowlights.

And he definitely can't handle a heavy load of carries throughout a season.

I showed highlights, yes, but also provided a statistical measure (whatever credence you give to PFF).

I know there were a few key misses which is why everyone jumped on the narrative.

Whether or not he can be a workhours is immaterial to me as committee is the right approach regardless.

There’s going to be more distribution among runners and touches. Davis may figure into it but they will certainly be adding to the RB room.

Plenty of opportunity for young, cheap RBs here.

People won;t let it sink in. They think zeke sucks. Fact is he played hurt for parts of two years. This team should never have asked him to and in fact IR'd him. We sucked the life out of him then curbstomped his face.
....and as a parting gift.....don't forget the last play in the SF loss.

Cowboy Roy......so now the narrative is Zeke held coaching staff hostage on playing decisions. Wow......the imagination and beliefs continue to amaze me.

I don't think Zeke was holding anyone hostage I will say this will not be the Kellen Moore offense. The air coryell style offense is not what Dallas will be running, fully expect to see more of the WCO style of offense and Pollard will see more plays like you see from Aaron Jones in GB.

Now that Zeke is gone I'm Team Bijan, go get him.

Just don't throw $70M dollars at him in a few years, no matter how good he is.

He won't be they will get someone to take the short carries and spell him
It's a must man, and if it isnt Robinson it will be his back up, theres some guys in FA still though that can be used for that, some solid options were signed yesterday.

You don't need an everyday back.... the two teams in the Superbowl did not have an every down back. Outside of Eckler, Henry, maybe Ettine, and Barkley.... I don't think you need an every down back to be successful. That being said, I now regret paying TP 10 million with how the RB market panned out so far this FA period.

They will see this season that he is not and never will be a durable every down back. There has to be a big back that can also block back him up.
