Why you liked it when you thought they were posts about Lance . . . they were Dak's weaknesses
it looked like Lance's weaknesses. fit him to a tee....

yet, with all those weaknesses, pre-draft projections most of which ended up wrong, he took the team to playoffs yet here we are, Lance can't even get to QB2 on any team..he couldn't beat out Rush, who has wet spagetthi for an arm.

Not tough.
I didn't want to tank. I thought we could win games with Rush, not a season.
I'm consistent in my love as Rush as the number 2.
McCarthy did a masterful coaching job during that stint. Rush is a great bus driver for 4-5 games if you need him. Love Rush. Don't like Lance.
You are still putting words in my mouth.
Glad your entertained.
Can't say I was entertained...but did pass the time for a bit.

So as directed...back on topic!
So I guess you are saying you ARE giving up on trey?

Time will tell. Let's cheer him on as best we can in the meantime, shall we?

Not at all and I'll say it again and again..............Rush is the better overall passer of our 3 qb.
He is also more QB intelligent and not panic-driven like well do I have to say his name?
except that he has noodle arm and it takes forever for him to get the ball to a spot. there was a reason when he led the offense, we were 22nd ranked or worse in every offensive category. I said it in another comment, if Rush had a decent arm he would have been a 2nd round pick

Dont be blinded by Daks empty calorie stats man.
Think about it what has he really done in his career?
What???????????????????
2 playoff wins and 36-6 vs the NFC Least?
Dak is a Tier 3 QB just like Rush is if you look with open eyes and not using the I love Dak filter ones.
Name 3 signature wins the past 5 years of Prescotts.
Just 3 man?
He keeps getting his A.. handed to him by the Niners, Bills, and any team that is playoff caliber pretty much.
The dude is all sauce and no Steak.
Looks at the GB debacle as an example of how his career stats are totally misleading.
The End.............
now you have gone full emotional as the poster said....Dak is not Tier 3, that's a fact. that's your hatred speaking.

and Rush has no calories. he led the offense to 22nd ranked or worse in every offensive category. for the record, the teams that ranked 20th or worse offensively for the season didn't make playoffs in the past three years.

and yes, the GB game was a debacle, where you have goggles that only focus on Dak because of your emotional anger towards him, I saw an entire team fall apart head coach on down.

but go ahead with your bad self, get the anger out. scream a little

I try not to give up on any player on the Cowboy roster.
I think Lance could be a good backup, but I wonder about his fit in a McCarthy offense. And, I think that Rush is clearly the better option right now.
I think it's wishful thinking to think he is a number 1, at this point.
If he had clearly and decisively won the QB2 job this year, I wouldn't have minded losing the fourth.
I just didn't see enough improvement from what little we saw of him in San Fran.

Definitely cheering him on as long as he wears the Star. I think he's a bit of a tease - great arm and athlete, but..

Out of curiosity... I know he is still young. Do you have an opinion or prediction on his progression as an NFL QB?

I already said...you must have missed it. I think if he plays with WR who don't let DB's take the ball out of their hands...would greatly help. Instead of scrubs.

Like Dak had to do...he must learn to throw the ball out of bounds...live to fight another day.

It's my opinion that accounted for 4 of 5 interceptions last game.

Love his arm strength and quickness. He can throw TIGHT! Love his running...he seems to protect himself quite well there.

Like a lot of people...I think he needs PT. If it were my team I'd start making that transition this year. Jerry got us in an awkward spot with these contracts, so it's a bit awkward getting out. It would take some careful management to make sure both QB's are in good situations.

wow, the new Genz posters who care about Likes....

frankly, I don't give a crap who likes me or not...but I get it, today's generation is so needy for approval. its a drug to them.
I doubt Pappy is "today's generation". LOL.

I, obviously...don;t care too much about likes either. But it does show some agreement on comments? Or appreciation?

I've had people judge because I gave certain people...ones they don't like...likes. I don;t always do it from 100% complete agreement. So yes....don;t put too much weight on 'em/

Thanks. That's fair.
I agree about the INT's (I think I gave him credit for 2 that game).
When I watch him, though, I still feel like he's a big tease... One of those guys who your always like, "If only he..." but he never really does consistently. I mean, I feel that way about Dak every year, too.
I kind of like guys having to play/coach on the last year of their deals in this situation. Put up or shut up kinda thing.

I'm not going to take with any substance a new member who sounds like a ghost account from one of our Dak-stans.
Let him be around enough and have some quality posts (hence the like count I mention) then I just might debate with him.
And that's a big maybe..............

I agree. I like posts that I don't necessarily agree with. I sometimes like posts with opposing opinions on the same topic because people I may disagree with can still have rational takes. Plus, I take a more hard line position for the "sake of arguement". It's not usually so black and white.

I know you think I'm a Dak-stan. Calling names seems to make you think you have a solid arguement.
I'm no Dak-stan. Nor, a hater. Not emotionally involved enough with the man.
