The Cowboy's front four is so bad we should refer to it as the Maginot Line.
Losing Hill was a big blow. Now they are rolling with Crawford, who isn't all that good and Gallimore, who is raw.
I'd call Dareus and see if he wants to come in and try out. Sure, he's not a 3T but at this point, we need bodies at DT. Poe is dreadful as well so I might even consider bringing Snacks in and if he shows anything, cut Poe.
Probably because he likes where he is. He has already turned down other teams to stay with Seattle.

Ok. Timeout. What am I missing on Trysten Hill? Why is he this OMG what a big blow loss? The dude is very much a part of a terrible defensive line. He's got no sacks, 1 tackle for loss and he's an awful run defender. Yet everyone's in mourning that he's gone down.
A big blow?
LOL
No worries, big move coming...FO gonna fix this.I am speaking relatively here. I am not saying we lost Aaron Donald here. But in the dreck that is our DT rotation, Hill was playing the best. So in that sense, we lost our best interior player to date. You ready for Tyrone Crawford to now start and eat up snaps? I am not.

Maybe they internally know/think they just aren't a SB team this year and that the cap is going to take some sort of hit so just tread water right now. They may poach someone off someone's team but I wouldn't look for them to sign a veteran. I don't know why the are taking this approach. Only thing I can think of is that maybe its cap related.....I just don't get if you have money why not spend it I get not locking guys up long term but on a one year deal I don't understand.

Yeah. I was just kind of throwing a not-well-thought-out idea into the ether that hit my brain on the fly.Guys you could bring in now would likely have a minimal negative effect on the cap. Harrison is making peanuts in Seattle right now.
We have seen this before. The Jones' tend to overvalue what they have, even back ups.
Chris Jones disagrees w/ you. As does Brockers, Fletcher Cox, Eddie Goldman, and Kawann Short.I mean they’ve spent 2nd , 3rd round picks. The 1st round DT hasn’t been there.
Based on an imminent need the FO traded away a premium pick for Cooper, they don't appear to be nearly as prudent regarding the DT/NT positions. Immediately after the Browns game they should spend every waking moment trying to trade/aquire a bonafide 1 tech at the very least. Cooper wasn't worth the 1st round pick nor the 20MM extension but he's here so we know if the desire is there they'll be willing to overpay for another teams headache.Because there is no one out there that is going to make the impact you want. These guys aren't like legos that you can grab and just plug in and get ready to go.
is Dareus another Poe...bunch of people here swore by Poe and how much better he was going to be than Malik Collins......so far results don't back that up
and given we are not one street FA wo nobody wanted to sign, away from becoming a good defense, might as well roll with Gallimore....
