That's hard to believe consider the certain player on this team you just love to defend at all costs that's never won anything in his life. Can’t stand losers.

You stalking me?A Dak defender that disappears after a loss for nearly a week then chimes in about Dallas is better focusing on the run and stopping the run......hence Dak the bus driver.....but then your panties got twisted.
He made an "I quit" thread about 2 weeks before the playoff lost last season and then didn't come around again until the season started.A Dak defender that disappears after a loss for nearly a week then chimes in about Dallas is better focusing on the run and stopping the run......hence Dak the bus driver.....but then your panties got twisted.

I doubt it, but that is exactly what needs to happen. So you finally see the light that Dak needs to stop trying to be a passing QB and that he is best being a bus driver like he actually has the skills to be.
I agree with 50% of your analysis. Disagree with the other 50%. Cowboys problem is they don't know how to coach up Dlinemen or Olinemen. They struggle at both. For example, the Cowboys refused to get serious about making Connor Williams a Center or giving him the necessary time and patience to reach his true potential (lack of vision and inability as Dallas coaches), so they cut him this past Spring. Connor goes to the Dolphins and they build him up right away at a new position at Center. For most of this season, Connor Williams is ranked the #1 Center in the whole NFL. Meanwhile, Tyler Biadasz who has been with the Cowboys 3 seasons and played only Center his whole time here is ranked as the 11th best Center.Ridgeway 6-5, 320...Not 335.
I was surprised they cut him. I think they expected him to clear waivers and make it to the practice squad.
Ridgeway did not anchor well.
He was good at shedding blocks with upper body strength in 1 on 1 blocking, but he got blown up by double teams.
In camp he got pushed 10 yards across the field by Josh Ball then tried to fight after the play.
In college he looked good until the Georgia game. Georgia had the 2nd OL angle block him and Ridgeway was helpless against that tactic. It negated his best asset which is upper body power. They did not even have to use a true double team. The first blocker would kick out to the 2nd level after the 2nd blocker was moving Ridgeway laterally.
Ridgeway might turn into a good DT but in 2022 he is not close to Hankins as a 1tech run stopper.
All the Cowboys have to do to stop the run is to quit stunting.
They could also play some true 4-3 in instead of their base defense which is big Nickel with Kearse as a LB and Wilson replacing Kearse ar SS.
Damone Clark is faster than Kearse. That was obvious on a play where Clark came from behind Kearse and blew past him to push the ball carrier out of bounds.
Based on pre-draft weights:
Clark 6-, 239
Kearse 6-4, 216
Normally when the play Clark (or Barr) it is with Parsons at DE (i.e. 3 DL plus Parsons).
With Clark in the Kearse big Nickel LB role, Parsons could remain at LB. Either on the line outside the DE or off-ball.
They have occasionally (1 or 2 snaps in a game) played Odighi at DE.
- That makes them bigger across the board.
- Clark as the 3rd LB instead of Kearse.
- Kearse at SS instead of Wilson.
- Wilson at FS instead of Hooker.
- A DE at DE instead of Parsons at DE.
DLaw...Hankins...Bohanna...Odughi
Sam Williams in place of DLaw if DLaw's foot issue limits him.
Odighi goes from smallish DT to oversized DE
Bohanna becomes a huge 3tech DT instead of average anchor 1tech.
Wow....I just realized that I've completely solved the run defense problems with existing players.
Hence Dak the bus driver? SMH. You still don't get it and never will get it. Dak threw for 265 yards and 3 TDs last week in frigid cold weather in Green Bay. Those 2 Interceptions were not on him. Many ex pro players and coaches said it wasn't. Had CeeDee ran his routes correctly, he would have still been running for more yards and at least 1 more TD. That would have given Dak easily 300+ yards passing, at least 4 TDs, 0 Interceptions and helped lead the team to a win. But because his receiver screwed up twice and contributed to 2 Interceptions, you use that as an excuse to attack Dak and call him a bus driver. SMHA Dak defender that disappears after a loss for nearly a week then chimes in about Dallas is better focusing on the run and stopping the run......hence Dak the bus driver.....but then your panties got twisted.
This scrub is a scrub
Nobody here has quit, If they had they wouldn't be here. No, many have quit. But as soon as the Cowboys win a couple they’ll be back on the band wagon queen.
You think maybe Dak's agent told him to play like this simply to get a big payday?I doubt it, but that is exactly what needs to happen.
Dak can man up and admit to the world that a BU QB instructed him and laid down the blueprint on how Dak could actually become highly successful in this offense.
Dak can't see or be respectful of a helpful hand being extended when its right there for him to take.
Most won't understand this now, but in ten years from now peeps will be looking back understanding that Dak could have been so much better if he could have just put his ego down for a moment in time and told Tad to take a back seat and get out of his ear with hero talk.
We have been terrible at developing players for a long, long time. Since it's been across several coaching regimes, makes me think it's on Jerry. Which would make sense considering he doesn't understand anything about NFL football aside from a skewed FF type of view.I agree with 50% of your analysis. Disagree with the other 50%. The same goes for the Cowboys DTs and DEs. Cowboys coaches simply fail to build players up in the trenches and quickly, yet when certain players get cut, they end up playing much better for other teams.
Which makes it even stranger that you have no idea even why it's weird. Can’t stand losers.
And on the opposite of stopping the run, the Cowboys MUST focus on running the ball. We’ve all seen what happens when teams establish the run. It opens up the passing game with play action. A little RPO thrown in. This is football 101 from the leather helmet days. If you want to win championships, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RUN THE BALL ON OFFENSE, AND STOP THE RUN ON DEFENSE.
You need better players to do that. As long as we're taking mostly CBs and WR's in the top rounds, this problem will continue.Nothing new here, i agree with you,....but we've been saying this even prior to the season. Run and stop the run. Very concerning that these professionals don't just emphasize the basics of football 101. You need an OC who knows how to run the ball and incorporate the passing game to complement it. And a DC who emphasizes stopping the run and using blitzes and outside pressure on passing downs. And the Cowboys can only figure it out on the field, never mind what the crap they say off the field. All this should have been preached and taught in the preseason. Show us BABYYYY...
I think it's a designation concocted by the fan police. What is the band wagon queen?
I'm regretting taking everybody off of my Ignore list, not sure what came over me but I'm now paying for it...
Not sure what your saying, Daks agent told him to play the same as he has been playing recently, average Dak style? You think maybe Dak's agent told him to play like this simply to get a big payday?
Quinns Defense was built and schemed to be pass rush first and foremost.
Being better vs the run at this point in the season will result in much less pressure on the QB.
This defensive roster simply does not support that narrative of being better vs the run.
It is picking your poison, and Q had to make a decision considering what he was being given, and considering what he had at his disposal it was a rushing defense first.
Every year we hear from this team how this team has figured it out ....... that's all they do is talk.
No one. I took care of them before they had the chance.
