It goes to show just how uneventful our offseason was. Some fans are so delusional they’re acting like Peters is the same player he was 15 years ago. Lol Jerry was spinning on the radio just three days ago that this is the best value roster he’s had in years. Never seen anyone try to spin so many positives in the face of so many negatives.
Two things.
1. Stop listening to Jerry speak. It will only give you ulcers. I don't click on the articles or videos that feature him anymore. It's not the best information, and I cringe every time he says something. He's probably a great guy, but he shouldn't be the official mouthpiece of the organization.
2. The only thing you need to focus on in this signing is this question. Do you believe Jason Peters is better at LT than Ball or Waletzko? If yes, then it was a good signing. Like Parcells said you have to always work on churning the bottom of you roster.
Consider this a move in the right direction to
churn the bottom of the roster. The question through the rest of the year is going to be will someone else become available who is better than Jason Peters? If the answer is yes, then we should consider churning the roster again if possible.
