When will Jerry Jones squash his ego and hire a real coach? Why can't he sit in the owner box and collect trophies? Knowing business is one thing. Knowing football is obviously something else.

He hired the BiG Tuna....but obviously he cannot successfully handle the Football side of this Franchise....I think JERRAH is the only person who REALLY believes he can at this point....the rest just know they can't do anything about it.

Good to know some are satisfied with one playoff win in 13 years.

Wade wasn't here for 13 years.

1 win in 3 years ain't bad . ESP with 2 division titles and avg 11 wins a season.

This franchise is worth about $2 billion and he owns it. He can do whatever he wants, and if the fans don't like it, they can cheer for another team.

Well put! :starspin

Jerry should look at the formula teams that have had young head coaches that have won. For example, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, NY Jets. He needs to get a firery young head coach, who motivate this team to kick ***!
It will never happen. He doesn't want a fiery young head coach, he wants a puppet. And that's exactly what he has in Wade.

OK, gang, let's list all the coaches you'd rather have over Wade, and which ones are available right now.

Keep in mind we have to keep the 3-4, there's no way Jerry will do anything to jeopardize Ware/Spencer's careers.

Remember Dave Campo's head coaching reign? 5-11 X 3? Wade has averaged the opposite (11-5) his three years. Tuna gets props for helping rebuild the roster, but he couldn't get them over the top. Wade's teams are still improving, thanks to a cancer treatment Jerry gave them this past offseason.

Now we just need an OL and a kicker. Any of you want to blow the whole team up when we're that close?

he won't. I like many others are waiting for Stephen to take over and hope he's better than Jerry(which shouldn't be to hard).

The job of the GM is to acquire talent. Lets take a look at some of our starters.....

Romo, Felix, Choice, Witten, Austin, Ware, Ratliff, Jenkins, Spencer, ect...

These players happen to be among the best in the league at their position and everyone of these guys were "homegrown". I dont know about you, but I would say our GM has done one hell of a job acquiring talent.

I know alot of you guys have 22 probowlers on your Madden game, but real football doesnt work like that. You know how many teams in the NFL would kill to have those players l just listed that were all "homegrown"???

And you guys want to fire the GM.......WOW:mad:

Isn't it sad? It's a shame to see how numb so many Cowboys fans have become with losing.

It's as if they're content with just being there.

I for one don't understand this logic and think that it's quite sad.

One playoff win in 13 years.. Wow. Is that really what so many fans have come to consider as being successful?

Pathetic.

Who has had a QB since Jimmy? Who has had a RB since Jimmy? You see where I'm going with this right? Until Parcells we had no players, a crappy mentality, and chaos. A franchise with zero identity.

Phillips had the benefit of coming in after Parcells. Wonder how well that would have worked had he came after Campo.

Wait, all those players were acquired by our GM. Last time I checked, Parcells was never the GM and in fact was never given control over personnel. Jerry Jones has said from the day 1 that he has the final say over the roster.

Do you actually believe T.O. would have come to Dallas if the decision was left up to Parcells???

Sorry that doesnt cut it.
He is borderline irresponsible as an owner.

To add: Who knew that when Jerry said any one of 500 coaches could win SB with that team, that when it in fact did happen that we would pay for SBXXX for 13+ year of misery and heartbreak and flat out some of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history.

If you think Jerry is such a bad owner, go look around the league dude. There is not another owner that spends as much time and money on his team as Jerry. He poured over $700 million of his own personal money into a brand new stadium, he spends millions on players to keep the team together. When was the last time we lost a player we wanted to keep because another team was offering more money???

You could be a Titan fan and watch cheap arse Bud Adams refuse to pay players to keep them on the team. From Jevon Kearse to Albert Haynesworth, every time one of their players comes up for a big payday, Adams lets them walk.

And as far as the 13 years goes, yes it has sucked. However, what the hell did you think was going to happen when you have a team loaded with Hall of Famers and they basically all retire at the same time???

Did Wade bring in new scouts or a new scouting dept ? Nope. He is using BP's guys. Drafting is hit and miss for the best but after BP's the improvement has been noticeable. Yes, until this season the good drafts have continued which is a testament to BP's organizational changes, not to Wade. I am not sure how much power Wade even has to make personnel choices so even though I am loath to do it I would give Jerry and Stephen more credit than Wade for 2 very good drafts, not sure on this years, but it does not look so go thus far, but Jerry did that with his stupid RW11 trade (even though I am a RW11 fan) so what he gives with one had he destroys with the other. BP's gets my vote over Wade any day of the week.

Wow, so Parcells is now getting the credit for all of our drafts since he left because the scouts were his???

Thats rich, you guys are halarious. I am sorry, but I dont wear knee pads for Tuna.

Other franchises can fire their GMs and at least try to make things better.
Then there is us.
If not for Steven.....................

So you would rather be a team that fires their GM every couple of seasons like the freakin Browns or Lions do???

Yea, it has worked wonders for those franchises.

This is spot on in my opinion.

People say that Rex and the Jets have the luxury of playing weaker teams and conference etc. Thats bull.

Not only did he win the game he had to... he did it with less talent and rookie QB and not even a year of head coaching under his belt.

People talk about "maybe we are overrating the talent" THAT is bull also. We have alot of talent and its not just this year. Atleast since 2007.

We FAIL.

I know it is hard to see when you are living in it. But reflecting back on these past 3 seasons in about 5 years is going to have alot of "what was Jerry thinking"??? - book it

I know everybody is wearing knee pads for Rex right now, but if the Colts dont pull their starters and tank the perfect season, the Jets are eliminated and Rex is sitting at home watching the playoffs.

Just saying.

That would be so ironic, wouldnt it. I would laugh my arse off if that happened. Servers the Colts right, tanking a game on purpose.
