5-1 speaks for itself. He’s earned the right to compete and he’s earned the right to have a chance. I both support and stand behind Cooper Rush. He’s done enough to earn that right and I believe in him. It’s starting to feel like 2022 again and the Cooper “The Rush” Rush hype train is starting again on this forum. He might fall flat on his face and if he loses the next two games then fine he isn’t the one but until then he’s earned the right for a chance and I’ll be giving him that chance!

Expecting him to do much better is a reach. He’s been good when calked upon, but those were better teams than this team. Rush is a solid nfl backup but there’s maybe one QB in the nfl who could win with this roster as it has been most of the year

Not to turn this in a Lance thread but the Cowboys offense is Dak centric and Lance is nothing like Dak as a quarterback. Rush is more like Dak so this offense fits him better and he will give the Cowboys the best chance to win.

The big concern is the that Jerry and the front office is absolutely clueless when it comes to getting the Cowboys to Super Bowl level. Last season you have a team who played the 49ers tough in the playoffs and your splash trade was you traded for a player that does not fit your offense because you wanted to pressure Dak into signing a team friendly extension. Jerry kills us because he thinks business negotiations over team building.

Cooper Rush is up next and he definitely has my full support because he's a Dallas Cowboy. I've never understood how people claim to be Dallas Cowboys fans, selectively root against certain Cowboys players and selectively support other Cowboys players.

A fan of a team usually cheer for ALL the players on that team, correct?

With that said, I hope Rush plays well enough to give the team a spark, HELP the team create another win streak (because that 5-1 win streak was NOT solely his doing, it was the efforts of the team) and.... I hope Rush plays well enough to take over the starting quarterback job and keep Dak on the sidelines.

This isn't about Dak, this isn't about Rush or any other single player. This is about the Dallas Cowboys. So for the people who criticize Cowboys fans for being a Dak fan, a Zeke fan, a Rush fan, a Diggs fan.... you sound pretty dumb and stupid because you're supposed to be a fan of the players that play on your "supposed" favorite team.

The fact that you even thought "IF" is absolutely insane. The VAST majority of fans here that defend Dak have a clearer understanding that it's a team sport and it's not all his responsibility.
