I choose to stand behind Cooper Rush until he gives me a reason otherwise

Low football IQ fans just can't get it through their heads that it's a team sport. We have a garbage team. So, a back up QB is going to fail miserably. Ya'll got your wish.
Low football IQ fans can't get it through their heads , the QB is the leader of the TEAM . And if he blows, which Chokota does , your going to Fail Miserably .

For the LOW IQ football fans, we don't expect much . We don't with Chokota . But the same QB for 58$ million dollars less which could have loaded this team with Talent won't happen since we have a Overpaid chump .

Get it now ?

Snooze at all the same unoriginal, poorly thought out, and mental talking points.

You're doing terrific!

We were failing miserably anyways.

If that continues with Rush at least we won't have to deal with the usual suspects nauseatingly defending the qb as if he was their infant daughter.....
Don't worry, when our OLine, poor run game and lack of WR separation takes place with Rush at QB, I will be defending him as well.

No kidding! The team is hot garbage.

The fact that you even thought "IF" is absolutely insane. The VAST majority of fans here that defend Dak have a clearer understanding that it's a team sport and it's not all his responsibility.
You guys can't help yourself, it's like a cult.
I blame fantasy football for making fanatics dumber. But any sort of hatred AFTER he's out for the season is just ignorant at best.

You guys can't talk about anything else because that's all you focus on. The lack of X's and O's knowledge is astounding.
Well, let's see how things go the next few weeks.

What's clear is the Dak defenders are invested in this team's total failure now. Because if things stay the same or even improve with Cooper under center then Dak will look worse than he already does

I don't play fantasy football for the record. If I did, I would love Dak for all those 4th quarter prevent defense "rallies" that are Fantasy fools gold.

Ok, since we're going to stick with the "quarterback is the leader of the TEAM" instead of it being a team sport....

According to your logic, Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles were much better leaders than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly correct? Dilpher and Foles LED their teams to Superbowl victories and Kelly and Marino couldn't.

So again.... according to your "quarterback is the leader of the team" logic.... Dilpher and Foles were obviously better leaders than Marino and Kelly, correct?

Rush is terrible. We know this. Why not Lance? The season is over.
Lance isn't and never was the answer. I forget where I read it but he has like 26 starts at QB including highschool. Cooper at least can go through his reads and gets rid of the ball. i would bring Lance in for some designed runs but that's about it.

Stop blaming the team! QB position is the most important position on the field. Look what Jayden Daniels has done for the Commanders. And don't tell me it's the coach and the new management. You take Daniels off the team and see what happens. Yes they play as a team and everyone has a job but the QB is more important because he can be such an inspiration to the players around him or he can be an overpaid narcissist who half the locker room is not buying into.

Well you can see it this way: I'd rather have somebody at the helm, who knows where he stands and what he is. And therefore just gives all he has instead of talking absolute nonsense to the media and thinks he's top ten or something.

There are no illusions about Rush, his 4-1 run was a surprise for everyone. So those wins were even sweeter.

Rush isn't holding us back from anything either. He knows he can't be the starter. Someone has to come in. But the Dak thinks he really is a SB capable QB and keeps us from making the necessary changes. You can put it all on Jerry if you want, but these two have found and deserve each other. If only all of us wouldn't get cought up in the middle of it. I supported Dak until 2021 but then I saw who he really is. That's five years I'll never get back. So I can support Coop for a couple of games without a sweat.

Again, that was a very good team. The "4-1" point is dumb.

So good that they got blown out in week 1 vs Tampa 19-3 in week 1 with Dak starting, resulting in him getting booed off the field and people throwing trash on him as he walked into the tunnel after his injury

Then insert Rush and go on a 4 game win streak.

Whether you stans want to admit it or not, the team looked horrible in week 1 and responded very well when Rush came in as the clear starter

That's a delusional take. Prescott may not be a top tire QB, but some of you guys have really gone off the deep end.
But take note, this current team is going to get slaughtered the rest of the season.
Suggesting any of the back ups will succeed with this offense is either not all there or just trolling.

At any rate, you get your wish. I'm curious who crawls back under their rock.

My assessment was nothing but pure, street grade, unadulterated facts.

If you wish to ignore the reality of how the 2022 season began, be my guest.

In a lot of ways the similarities are striking.

Dakota starts out horrible, the team appears to be in disarray, and then when he gets hurt all of his loyal subjects declare the season to be over and mock his critics with "you all got your wish, enjoy watching the team get slaughtered without Dak"

In 2022 they did just fine without him.

Will they do fine without him again? Time will tell. But it's crystal clear that the Church of Dak is praying that they don't win without him. And that confirms what we've been saying for years about the persistent problem of the Dak over Dallas portion of our fanbase

To what end? Rush is terrible. They have zero chance at a playoff spot. Throw Lance out there and at least get the final answer on him. I know Lance is raw as heck but he needs to play.
