You think the Panthers faked the war room video of the trade offer with Chicago? Maybe they did it in the moon landing studio.
LOL, stop with what I think. It does not matter.

You’re right it doesn’t matter.

Regardless, the front office have said they didn’t want to risk losing Parsons so only went to 12. They thought he’d be there, no if buts or maybes about it.

Congrats to them, they got their guy even if they were prepared to draft a CB if the right one had fallen to them at 10.

We are damn lucky the Giants got a trade down offer or Parsons most likely is a Giant right now.

Nah it would be fine.. At the end of the day he’s a linebacker.

Very few linebackers are worthy of where he got drafted anyways and he’ll be lucky if he lives up to the value of that pick.

There was no need to do that. Parsons was always going to be there at 10. Most people thought AT BEST one player would be taken in the top 10 on defense. The consensus was Surtain would be the first defensive player to go off the board.
so who knows, maybe they were going to be OK with any of those three players, and a move down just netted an extra pick....I am happier with a LB, than a CB. given there was no DL at that spot worth taking...my opinion on defense is you build inside out. plus this was a deep CB draft, so I knew we end up with a CB in 2nd or early 3rd round

I think they wanted one of the CB’s and when he was gone they traded down
But until their board gets leaked it’s just my assumption
trade down might have happened regardless if one of the CBs or both were available. both Giants and Philly were primed to take WRs, so dallas made the trade. I bet if the order was different and a team needing LB or CB, then dallas wouldn't trade down. perhaps they had Parsons, Horn and Surtain ranked about the same....I was hoping we would see a leaked cowboys draft board like prior years...

I was much happier drafting Parsons over a CB. It wouldn’t be the first time a teams backup plan ends up being the better player.
Wait... is that Mickey in your avi?!
I'm gonna throw up.

What are you basing this on, just your own evaluation skills, and if so thats fine, just please have a point of reference to back your bold claim.
So, if I have an opinion, I have to okay it by you or it does not count? Screw that! I don't owe you any explanation whatsoever why my opinion is what it is. LOL, get over yourself.

If you can get a total stud MLBer that can cover, tackle and rush the passer I think that can be the biggest weapon on your defense. I wont argue that.
If Parsons isn't that, then I'll admit it wasn't a great pick. However, most scouts agree that he was by far the best D player in the draft. He'd have been easy top 5 pick if he'd played.

I know that could be the case and I have been doing since the late 90's with this team. But curious as to why you think so?
Because its the easy bet,, he has no understanding of the player, probably didnt even know who he was when we drafted him.

You've just not read enough of my posts about Micha or stubbornly ignoring them so you can continue to harass me now on the subject. I think it's the latter, which really pulls my chain. I won't play this game of yours and you don't tell me when I can or can not post. You're a mod wannabe that thankfully is impotent of that power. ;)

Ok man,, seriously think about it for a moment, this is probably the first time Ive even tried responding to you because you act like a jack *** every time I ask your opinion, and just try and engage in some meaningful conversation that we might all learn something from.
Tell me why you feel that Parsons is a bust,,, Im here all night.
