Makes little difference to me. Either we do or we don't.

The real draft haul happened last year when we found a franchise QB at the end of the 4th round. The future of the QB spot in Dallas is set for the next decade or so. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is more valuable than that to a team.

So, whatever happens, happens. I'm just thrilled we've found his replacement for peanuts.

And when Prescott Bridgewaters his knee at training camp... then it will make a difference to even you that we still have Romo on the roster to save the season. You were saying whatever happens, happens... right.

Many knew he had zero value in a trade. No one is trading for a QB in his situation with his age and injury history. It's not worth it. That's what I chuckled at so many on here who thought he would command some huge value in return. Not even close. The most I could see is a 5th rd pick. Or 6th. Right now, there are no teams out there desperate enough for a QB to make the move right now when they know Dallas has zero plans for Romo in their future. They will just wait for his release.

You can say that about any franchise QB in the league. It sucks to have them get hurt.

Dak is sure built to take a punch though. So it isn't any more likely here as anywhere else in the league. Maybe less so.

Besides, that ship has sailed. Romo isn't going to be in Dallas going forward. Whatever happens, happens.

Who cares about what happens to other franchise QBs. You should only care about the Cowboys franchise QB and want him to have the best backup possible. That is TR. You don't know anymore than anyone else does about Romo's future at this point.

Why are we just delaying the inevitable? Why wait until June 1 when the entire league knows we are just going to end up releasing?

I suspect Jerry is hoping someone gets desperate on draft night. The Texans are in a really bad situation so they need Romo.

I know he won't be in Dallas, Sarge.

Stephen Jones is on the competition committee with Rick Smith and Elway that will be meeting next week, if there is any hope of a trade with these two clubs it will find some traction during this context.

If not they may keep him until after the draft still trying to get something from a QB needy team.

I do not believe this. Any contender's QB goes down, who is their immediate best option? Romo, no one else is close. Hang onto him until someone really needs him. It is a business.
No every Contender believes that Romo would be hurt two minutes after their own quarterback that's why he still sitting here with no offers if anybody thought he could stand up for a considerable amount of time he'd be long gone
Good Lord people
