Yeah exactly...he can't make ANY mistakes or it's game over for this team and it's unfair to blame it all on him. He put up HUGE numbers against the best D in the league with no defense and zero running game.

Huge numbers- a nother stat guy- but he can't make critical plays when we need them- Let me correct myself- he can make mistakes- we all do and we will probably make more just as Romo. But I expect more from the QB of the Dallas Cowboys- I expect Romo to come thru in critical situations. That's really what he's paid to do. Some how though- he does something that make you say "WT*" to that!

EVERY situation is freakin key on this team. This D doesn't let us get big leads. Then there was a blocked punt for a TD!

I thought the D played well considering the circumstances. our secondary was a mess with all the injuries. They still did enough for us to win. Sean lee basically gave us 7pts. Then on the drive Romo through the int they gave our O great field position. They only gave up 17 pts and gave our offense 7 that is a difference of 10 pts It dont get much better

here it is in a nutshell. We are never going to win a championship with Tony Romo...time to look elseware, he makes the same mistakes year after year..he should have made sure bryant knew how far to run that route if dez should have stopped earlier...stupid play, stupid fumble..he is a problem...a big one...

There is nothing in Romo's game that says Superbowl. He hasn't taken that next step. I'm not sure if he can. I love Romo but I'm not sure he can get it done.

I never feel comfortable with the game tied and romo has the ball.. I only feel comfortable if dallas is up be 10 points in the fourth. Good game, I think we'll have a good season. But man, Romo is not good in those situations, he's a good player, but its getting a little ridiculus now.

Nope- We were up 14 in the fourth.

I'd say there's a whole lot of football ignorance i this thread.

Yeah Romo screwed up. But this "we'll never do this or that with Romo as QB" is pure nonsense. You don't know that. Don't even pretend you do.

Romo is a fantastic QB and normally plays very well. He played well tonight aside from two HUGE mistakes that cost us the game. He does seem to make mistakes at critical times. Still, I'll take him. Personally, I fault Garrett for his play calling. First and goal at the three? RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!!!!!!!!!! He never seems to learn. Likes to get too cute.

I thought we should have ran the ball too-

The defense gift wrapped a win to Romo and he fumbled it away. Just sayin

My point simply is that this a team sport, and blaming a team loss on one player is insane.

I read the thread all night....first it was people praising Romo as if he was God himself and ripping the defense, then the o-line sucks, then the o-line is great, then our running game sucks, then the defense was great, then the running game is good, then Romo sucks, then our special team sucks, then romo sucks.....etc.

It's a team sport. Everyone is responsible for the loss.

That is just dumb. Mcgee = 4-12 season.

McGee = Luck come draft time

going 8-8 with Romo accomplishes what?

I'd rather go 4-12 with McGee then 8-8 with Romo, we will never win with him

I see a lot of folks jumping on romo and it's justified.

He has great stats wins a lot of game. So have a lot of QB in NFL history

I give things in life the eye ball test I believe what my eyes tell me and they tell me in pressure situations he makes a lot of mistakes in critical moments. Way too many mistakes.

I can only speak for myself but I hold my breath every time he passes or does anythign to be honest late in games.

There is so much stupidity in this thread. Romo lit up the best D in the league. He threw ONE INT to the best corner because Dez didn't run his route. We were supposed to get obliterated and we almost won. We should be happy but as usual, it's another Romo bashfest because he wasn't flawless.

If it was an isolated incident I would say ok. But it isn't. Romo is a consistent choker.
