Oooh! Good comeback!

It's not even that he threw the INT, it's that he DIDN'T score to win the game. The D basically got a touchdown, a turnover in Jets territory, and then when we didn't do anything with it, got the ball back AGAIN with plenty of time. The same D that's supposed to be so awful. They played AMAZINGLY. The OFFENSE, led by Tony Romo, was given MULTIPLE opportunities to win this game, and failed every time. The details are insignificant.

And Manning was considered by many a "choker" in the playoffs. Peyton Manning wasn't immune to criticism.

No kidding...it even goes back to his days at TN....For being so "Great" how many SB's has he won? One?

Didn't he set some record or something for most INT's returned for a TD with 8 or 9? Can't remember if that was in one season though.

I know we need Romo because franchise QB's are hard to find. Romo will keep us competitive and will win a lot of games. I just don't know if he can win the game.

Damn, I need to stop posting in this thread, I feel like this could easily reach triple digits in pages.

Yeah yeah! If we do that we win the game.

Romo had one horrific play at the worst possible time, but OTHERWISE played a very good game. Still a loss, and still mostly his fault.

No QB is perfect, especially under constant pressure.

Man I wish we had a stud QB like Rothlisberger. He'd never turn over the ball even under pressure. Oh, wait.

Romo is a terrific quarterback, but he has an undeniable history of creating some clumsy plays in critical situations.

I think it's the level of excellence he displays so often that makes his bonehead plays all the more unbearable. He goes from one of the best in the game to a throwing a head scratcher in the blink of an eye.

He will bounce back. He always does. But will we find ourselves right back in this same spot in the not too distant future?

Yup cause or DB's kept stopping Burress, Mason and LT for 3rd and long to seal the deal.....

CHAMPIONSHIP!

And much of it is coming from you. It is really embarrassing to be honest. If you watched the press conference, Romo already admitted that this loss is on him and if he doesn't make those mistakes, then the Cowboys win. Even he won't defend himself, yet you continue to do it. You need to check yourself.
As the QB of the team, it's his JOB to take the blame, regardless if he was at fault or not.

Tony Romo reminds me alot of Danny White, big empty numbers but always throws an INT or turns the ball over at the absolutle worst time and Dallas never won the big game with White and I dont see Dallas winning the big game with Romo..

VERY fair analogy.....he's Danny White Jr. from now on IMO....

Here's my question: would you blame Romo for the loss if the pick happened in the FIRST QUARTER and the blocked punt happened with :49 left?

I think that if in the near future a QB falls to us in the draft we should take him and develop him. With all the young QB's out there at the moment it may be possible to get a decent prospect with a mid to late 1st.

God lord, Roethlisberger has 2 superbowl rings. Stop putting ROmo in the same sentence as these guys.

"Oh bubu Aaron Rodgers threw 2 ints in wk 2 should GB trade him?????!?" No *******, he's a superbowl MVP.

Timing is everything in sports. No one remembers the missed jumper with four minutes left, but they sure do with four seconds left.

If Romo threw a bad pick in the 1st quarter then no i wouldn't, but ROMO THREW IT IN A TIED FOOTBALL GAME WITH A CHANCE TO GIVE US BACK THE LEAD.

If not that, at least not turn the football over and see what we can do in OT.
