I blame Romo for throwing to an injured Dez, Dez for not even running his route, and Garrett for putting Dez back out there.

I dont understand why Dez was even on the field, he wass not even running half speed the last few possessions. Regardless Romo has to throw the ball away, he has to be more aware of where we are in the game. The fact that it was first down makes it that much more frustrating.

Manning didnt throw picks at crucial times like Romo does

****ttttt.....

Peyton has thrown away his share of seasons as well.

Media won't touch the golden boy though, he's the face of the league.

I'd say there's a whole lot of football ignorance i this thread.

Yeah Romo screwed up. But this "we'll never do this or that with Romo as QB" is pure nonsense. You don't know that. Don't even pretend you do.
WHo knows. Trent dilfer won a superbowl and Romo is the QB it's not like the cowboys can trade for Tom Brady or Aaron Rogers. those type of QBs don't grow on trees

There is so much stupidity in this thread. Romo lit up the best D in the league. He threw ONE INT to the best corner because Dez didn't run his route. We were supposed to get obliterated and we almost won. We should be happy but as usual, it's another Romo bashfest because he wasn't flawless.

You account for 95% of it

who accounts for the other 5%?

Peyton definitely does choke as well and not just on the odd occasion, that's a good point that somebody brought up.

I should have known better than to log onto this forum so soon after a heartbreaker.

Yeah, nevermind the 300+ yard and 2td performance against one of the most elite defenses in the league, let's focus on a fluke fumble when the guy is doing his all to try to make a play for us to seal the deal. I can understand being upset at the INT at the end, but to blame Romo 100% for the flukey turn of events that also included a blocked punt for a TD is ridiculous.

Without Romo we wouldn't have even been in the position to win the game and up 14pts in the 4th...Romo owns some of this loss for sure, but to make such a knee-jerk reaction after all that happened is ridiculous.

I mean you guys can bash Romo but it's mainly Jason's fault. As a coach he is suppose to put us in the best position to win and he failed. With better/smart play calling that drive romo doesn't have a chance to fumble! You run the ball. If we get stopped kick the fg and play the clock!

Tony Romo reminds me alot of Danny White, big empty numbers but always throws an INT or turns the ball over at the absolutle worst time and Dallas never won the big game with White and I dont see Dallas winning the big game with Romo..

Romo is not a choker, he has asthma. It only affects him in a hot smokey atmosphere, like the fourth quarter when there are all those hot, sweaty mens chasing him around with their hot smelly breath. Lighten up everyone it was one game, a tough one none the less but one game... BTW Garrett looks for a new QB next year I call it now.

...and Romo will retire tomorrow. Romo has been a stater six year. Manning won after EIGHT years. WHOOPS!!! There goes your logic.

And Manning was considered by many a "choker" in the playoffs. Peyton Manning wasn't immune to criticism.

And much of it is coming from you. It is really embarrassing to be honest. If you watched the press conference, Romo already admitted that this loss is on him and if he doesn't make those mistakes, then the Cowboys win. Even he won't defend himself, yet you continue to do it. You need to check yourself.

If it were up to this board, we would still be trying to figure out who the QB is....we'd still have QC, Henson, Hutch debates going on.

I'll take Romo.
