Dak fanboys are funny. They brag about Daks 2nd place to the MVP award. The Dakfan boys get so happy for Dak's 2nd place. Who cares except Dakfanboys... LOL
LOL...Dak is terrific in garabage time and against bad teams. He chokes in the playoffs. Enjoy watching your hero choke.
Literally the NFL regular season = "Garabage" time and vs bad teams!!

Dak Hater Bozo Logic

Enjoy watching him earn $60M/year to play QB for your favorite team.

The "loser" in this scenario is staring at you in the mirror.

If Cooper Rush is worth 2 million, Dak should be around 6 million. That's much closer to the differential than the 58 million it's at right now. Dak getting 60 million is actually hilarious at this point and the return will be exactly what you would expect from such a moronic decision.

Got your feeling hurt telling the truth about your crush.
The only loser is Dakfanboys.
Dakfanboys always crying hater.

Enjoy watching your hero crash and burn.

Maybe he’s tired of watching other teams play on the last two weekends of football. Dak is out of strikes. Most actual GM’s would have moved on from him years ago.

There is no doubt in my mind if DAk and his salary we're completely out of the equation and we had to start Cooper Rush and could take 60 million and invest it in quality free agents we would have probably one 10 games this year.
Won 12 the previous 3 years, but no SBs or NFC championship appearances even.

Would rather have the 12 wins, makes the season more fun to watch, all other things considered equal.

"Most GMs would let go of a reigning All-Pro QB!"

Too funny.

You people have zero grasp of how NFL football works.

You're crashing and burning before my eyes.

Dak lapped you in life 1,000 times over.

No wonder you hate him.

If that's how you think it works, then that's just insane  Sorry, nothing personal, but the salary bizz has really gotten in people's heads.

If dak were released and another team picked him up, he would be out of the league in 2-3 years max

I know teams actually have the option not to overpay. That's exactly how this works. LOL Nothing personal since Jerry makes one stupid decision after another.

Yep, best thing to do is NOT pay players you want to obtain. Great plan.

LOL.....You dakfanboys get triggered and cry hate.
Your man crush is declining, better get used to it.

Someone mentioned last night about the play calls & how the offense seems to have expanded. It's not because Mike just woke up. It's because the other QB forces him to have a very limited scheme.
It's amazing how a real quarterback makes everyone else look better.
Rush is a real quarterback. He attacks the game with the intentions of winning.
Dak attacks it with the intentions of making himself look better.

Not a good class, but I'm willing to start throwing darts at this point.
If Dillon Gabriel falls to the second he would be a steal. The kid from Ohio State is a good looking prospect too. Not a fan of the guys at the top of the draft.Shedeur maybe, but the media circus would be terrible in Dallas.

That's not the point......the point is, if he's good enough to replace Dak as your starting QB as some seem to suggest, it will take a franchise tag to keep him off the market. That's the going rate for NFL starting QBs........
Neither Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold received franchise tags and are among the best this year. You can find journeymen QBs on the market every year. Bill Parcells used this approach before Romo emerged as this guy and it was my preferred approach before the season started.

Nobody wanted Kurt Warner either. There are a lot of biases in the NFL. For all their "professional" advantages, I'm not sure they are terribly better at player evaluations than knowledgeable, reasonable fans.

True but neither was signed as their current team's LONG-TERM starter. The Vikes have a top-10 draft pick waiting on the bench. The original issue (post ) was that Danorld now earned the right to get a long-term offer and he's a free agent. The Vikes have three options, let him walk, offer him a long-term deal consistent with his market value ( OTC says $34M ) or tag him ( this year QB tag is $38M ). The Giants signed Daniel Jones $40M a couple of years ago. So my guess, is $38M will be Darnold's floor on the open market.

BTW....I have already read a few nuggets one of the QB-needed teams may opt to sign him as their future, rather than overdrafting Sanders or Ward.
