putty is going to be the person in the middle between the chinese and americans.
the american company bought putty into the fold because they trust putty having known putty's honorable ways for 25 years.
putty will need to earn the trust of the chinese to make this work, but the americans have basically said they want putty in that role.

putty already told american company that putty needs to bring new portion of technology to chinese company every week for implementation.
americans worry about technology being transfer but not paid.
chinese worry about paying $ but not getting all the technology.
so we all need to get along.
thus, honey melon, u need to address putty henceforth as the Honorable Putty

it helps since at least 2 more joint projects are possible if this one works out.
so everyone is incentivized to play nice.
