That should be the only goal every season. So what if we make the playoffs….Comprehension is fundamental. Explain your leap to the SB.

I WAS WAITING FOR A POST LIKE THIS!!!!! Why does it always seem like we lose in the most stupid ways, how many teams would have had a TE score inches short of the end zone, or a QB that doesn't have the sense to know where the end zone is and go out of bounds it baffles me!!! O line makes dumb mistakes as usual either holding or false start, but then being abused by the defense when you were decent during the game. We wait until the end to make stupid mistakesWhen you calm down for a second and think about it, are you really surprised by this team turning what was a prime spot to score the winning TD from the 6 yard line into a desperation last second play that comes up 5 yards short?
For most fanbases, what happened there at the end would probably stun some fanbases. But it shouldn't surprise ours. We live for moments like that. We thrive in incompetence in moments like that. It takes a special level of undiscipined, inept, stupid play to blow a 1st and goal from the 6 yard line with more than enough time to score and the game on the line. Roles reverses, does anyone doubt that Philly wouldn't have scored on us in that situation? Of course they would have. They aren't as dumb a team as we are.
A false start. Then your RT gets whipped to be compounded by your vet QB deciding not to chuck the ball away and live for the next 3 plays from the 11. Then chaos sets in and your QB costs you 5 more yards on a delay, to then not throw into the endzone, but rather short of it........... by 5 yards......... as the clock runs out.
If you had told a fan of another team that's how they lost a game, they'd say you made it up. You tell a Cowboys fan that's how they lost a winnable game against a good team, and pretty much all of us would say, "Yeah, that sounds about right............."
This is getting so old when it's US that kill ourselves every gameYeah but... The Refs
At what choking during big games?I'm surprised the boys are doing better than I thought.
Well better in the clutch anyway. Cowboys should have won the game otherwise. The game was a good contest as I expected. The Cowboys came up short to a better team. Not surprised by any of it.
Great post. You have to hand it to the Eagles. Six of their nine games thus far have been decided by 7 pts. or less; of those, they've won five (their 20-14 loss to the Jets being the aberration). They are way more than likely to win those games, having developed a collective confidence to do so.
The Cowboys have now played only two games decided by one score, and sit at 1-1 (Chargers, Eagles).
When DAL finds themselves in an end-of-game situation like last night, "chaos" - rather than "focus" - becomes the order of the day. We've seen it time and time again during the Dak era. It used to be just him with the "deer-in-the-headlights" look when the game is on the line; it's now seemingly affecting the performance of everyone around him.
With each failure, the pressure mounts, making the next meltdown more likely. That cycle could have been broken last night. Instead, another bundle of sticks has been thrown under the stake the Cowboys will be roasted on this coming week.
This team doesn't need new players or coaches. It needs a top-notch sports psychologist.
Couldn't find a suitable gif for that album cover. When I pulled up The Wall, it wouldn't load.Great group wrong album
youre doing better than I. Since they changed the site I cant even figure out how to post a GIF lolCouldn't find a suitable gif for that album cover. When I pulled up The Wall, it wouldn't load.
Of course. Eagles run the ball and can control the clock, especially at the end of games when you really need to. We cannot. You have to hand it to the Eagles. Hopefully, they will do better than previous years. That should be the only goal every season. So what if we make the playoffs….
What gives you hope?Hopefully, they will do better than previous years.
Nothing, just trying to be positive. The mind says be prepared for an early exit, but the heart is hopeful. What gives you hope?
JJ and Dak killed my hope many years ago.Nothing, just trying to be positive. The mind says be prepared for an early exit, but the heart is hopeful.
That's it really, the front office is incapable and/or unwilling to go the extra mile to build a complete team. When they have a great offense they have a horrible defense that lets a one legged Aaron Rogers school them. When they have a playoff quality defense they have an under-powered OL and a panicky QB. It will be a cold day in hell when this team has a dominant OL and DL ath the same time. We might not see another great OL ever! This is the typical Cowboys of nearly 30 years. They are not built to win. Don't you think if maybe the FO had actually DID SOMETHING before the trade deadline, that could have tilted a close game into a victory? Like maybe actually trade for an RB... or maybe not burn that 2nd rounder on a TE.
No matter what we do, change coaches, change qbs, it's the same result over and over and over again. No compilation of talent has been good enough to overcome the front office. That's an impressive feat.
