Bozo the Coach was the *reason* we lost. Unsportsmanlike Conduct on a HC in a Conference Championship. Just incredible. Who does that?

The day they announced Jimmy was out, I predicted we'd lose in the NFC Championship. And Bozo made it happen.

You know what... I forgot he did that dumb ****.

How is being from Pa. a problem?

Pitt Panthers
Penn State
Steelers
Eagles
Yinzers
Philly

If you are a cowboys fan you don't like the steelers or Eagles
If you are a Mountaineers fan, and I am, you don't like the Panthers or the Nittany Lions

Plus the relatives always blabbing about those teams, so it was nice when they would lose

I’m from Pa., I love the Cowboys and I love Penn State. Don’t like the Steelers, Pitt Panthers or Eagles of course, but PSU is a grand tradition here. Mountaineers?!? Not really.

I’d take Belichick over JJ anytime. Belichick would pimp his own mother to win and has done it through the salary cap era which is a huge accomplishment. Both fine coaches but the nod goes to the Beelzebub in Massachusetts

Yeah. I don't know if we'd look at Jimmy with the same admiration if he'd actually stayed here. Maybe he would have just kept on winning (possibly at least those next two years), but maybe his career would have turned into what it became in Miami.

Not knocking him because he's a great coach. Just that some of the shine might have come off.

Before anyone even says it. He is NOT coming back. But I do miss him.

he was great, has charisma and brains.
he is the main reason I watched the fox pregame show for 20 years.

might have made a good gm too.

Watching the Cowboys against the 49ers in the playoffs they didn’t have an ounce of swagger. They were intimidated.

San Fran Swagger came out of that tunnel ready for a war. I thought our guys were sleeping upright in our tunnel. Silent...scared? Indifferent?

Yeah Jimmy had swagger all right he swaggered right out of here after about 4 years.

I miss Tom Landry that man had substance flew 30 bombing missions over Europe and crash landed a plane in France everybody survived.

Tom Landry didn't need swagger he walked the walk long before he started to Coach football.

This team doesn't need swagger it needs the Landry Mile less bull spit and more substance.

SPYGATE, DEFLATE GATE, VIDEO GATE - You can have Bill Belicheat.;** Give me Jimmy Johnson every day of the week. This man was a championship winning HC in College and won 2 Super Bowls in the NFL. He was the ENGINEER of the Cowboys Dynasty in the 90's., and most importantly, he did it with Jerry Wayne Jones sitting in the owner's box. That in itself should be worth 10 Super Bowls!!

What could have been......

"Hello, Jimmy, It's Jerry. Listen, I want you to come by so we can talk about you becoming the Cowboys GM. I mean, you've won the last two Super Bowls. I hired you right after you won that national championship at the "U". You obviously know personnel. Not only did you build this team but the University of Miami football players you personally recruited into college included about 10 future #1 picks in the NFL draft. Your credentials are the best in all of football, I'll get credit as the owner that made the wisest decision in the history of the NFL"

"You've been the GM all along anyway, Jimmy. As the GM/HC, you could lead this franchise to the most prestigious records in football. I realize that you are looking for other challenges but you could find some pretty big ones right here as the Cowboys GM. I've decided to include a small share of the team as part of your compensation, you are the only guy I would ever make this offer to. C'mon Jimmy, let's see how far you can take this thing."

.........."sigh".

Stevie would rather bring in Shottenheimer's untalented kid than bring in in a real game changing asset to the organization like Jimmy.

I would still run through a wall for Jimmy.

Many of his players and people in the biz say the same.
Jimmy is the one person they
cant bring in due to jerrys ego and grudge holding capacity!
The ego wants him to do it without jimmy , no help at all from him.
then jerry obviously still holds a grudge, and why jimmy isnt already in ROH.

If jerry were a NORMAL person lol, he would pay jimmy to at least advise him over the phone ,
but alas jerry isnt NORMAL !!!!!!11:omg:
