Three things really jump out at me.

How many of you guys see no possibility of this happening.

How many of you really dont want to see it happen.

That not one of you could considered the upside.

Not one of you thought having both 2007 All Pro starting WR's on the same offense was a good thing. This is mind blowing.

Dont you people see how complimentary their skills sets are?

Owens is a beast. 6-3 220 plus. Strong and fast. Although he can play outside the numbers downfield, his really excels inside the numbers, within 5 to 10 yards of the LOS where his run after the catch and tackle breaking ability come into play. His size to speed ratio, ability to break press coverage and play close to the LOS is second to none.
Moss at 6-4 200 is the exact opposite. He will go over the middle and take the hit when he needs to. But his real game is outside the numbers downfield. I've never seen a WR with anything close to Moss's downfield ball skills and catching radius. His speed, quickness and ability to oncover downfield is second to none.

With Moss our 2008 offense could be as good as the 2007 Patriots.

I predict that The Cowboys will sign Randy Moss. There would be no bigger free-agency splash that Jerry Jones could make than this as an owner, and as a general manager, there would be no better #2 free-agent WR he could target. In fact, if he does not target him then he is not doing his job as GM.

Moss is an exceptional talent and can be used interchangeably as a #1 and #2 WR, but be mainly used as the sure-fire deep threat that Dallas covets. Paired with T.O. the combination would be unstoppable. Don't minimize this potential move either. We all thought T.O.-to-Dallas was unthinkable and now should all be thankful that Jones had the vision to see past what we the fans initially could not see and/or aceept.

Also, don't just assume Jones will be so willing to give up a first round pick for another #1 WR like Roy Williams when he can keep the pick and still sign a better WR in Moss. And please don't counter this by saying that Moss would never come here because we all said the same about T.O. Also, Moss WANTED to be drafted here, and even though he's upset he was not, I think the chance for him to finally come here and finish his career with what we have in place (not to mention the millions Jerry will throw at him) will be intriguing, and that he would seriously consider it.

**

I believe this would be a great move and just trade Terry Glenn off for a 3rd Round Draft Choice...

I still think Marion Barber and Darren McFadden Combo would be good.
Sign Jacques Reeves back and sign Drayton Florence. Time for Cortney Brown and Allan Ball to step up....

As good? The Pats had no real deep threat on the other side of Moss. Having the two best receivers in the league on the field at the same time would terrify the league. I can only dream.

Or maybe he'll grow up and realize at this point in his career, you have to sacrifice your individual stats to win championships.

So what does Randy Moss do on run downs?

He's the last thing we need if we want a balanced offense.

Who knows? He seemed complimentary of Moss throughout this season including rooting for the Pats to go 19-0.

I don't think it happens. But Jerry did go out and steal Deion Sanders from the 49ers so anything's possible.

If Jerry were to talk to TO and ask him what he would think of bringing in a guy like Moss and TO were to say that its cool then its a no brainer to try and bring him in.

That is the only thing i am worried about: TO and Moss not getting along. One thing to realize is that Moss played with Cris Carter who is a jerk and TO played with Rice who was a colossal jerk. It also seems like the various WR talk to and no each ohter.

On the other side is TOs note earlier in the season where he cited himself as the original 81. That being said IF TO is on board with it, I believe there is no reason not to try and get Moss, still draft a day 1 WR and be good at the position for the next decade.

Moss Owens Crayton Witten Barber oh my.

Great ..

As much as I love Randy... he doesnt fit Romo's game.

Romo doesnt have Brady's, Cunningham, Culpeppers or Collins arm. I dont want to see anymore underthrown deep balls.

Here, let me nip this one in the bud. Which one gives up there number, T.O. or Moss? If you think, after all these years, that that doesn't matter, your kidding yourself. Think on it. You'll get it. :D

Don't get me wrong Randy Moss is a beast and I would love to have him on our team but let's be realistic. Our locker room would be FUBAR if he came. Can you imagine how the media would be if he was here. No thanks

What's mind blowing is why someone thinks we need to add another old tempermental WR to the team.

Yeah, so which one of them is going to play second fiddle to another?
Which one of them is going to say hey, I will take sacrifice for the sake of the team and become a role-player? It sure won't be Owens.

People play too much madden i swear

At this point in their career, both have faced losses in Super Bowls and want to win a championship. Both are in their 30's and regardless of the high level they're playing at, know the window is closing. Especially Owens at 34. Sometimes, even egos as big as theirs can be satisfied with not so great season stats with a ring.

Ahhh......maybe because he the most talented WR to ever lacem up!

Maybe because an offense with Owens, Witten, Moss and Romo would be indefensible.

Do you have any idea how many double teams OWENS and MOSS draw each week.

You know what really ticks off these guys. Constant double teams. 2 catches for 15 yards and no TD's. While their "defense drawing power" opens up stuff for everyone else.

Anyone who doesnt realize how much both these guys would embrace the idea of playing in the same offense, just doesnt understand the game.
