I think Brian Schottenhimer wanted Lance

It figures Schottenheimer was behind this trade for Lance. Bad move. Lance sucks. He makes Cooper Rush look like a top 10 QB. Even Will Grier is better than Lance right now.
You're the one who thinks dak is so great. It's good to know that dak had best come and play and if he don't, he might have to go have a seat. I love it. Been waiting long enough to see this happen.

They’re not moving in from Dak next year, and the only way that happens is if he gets Wally pipped. Which is unlikely to happen. Personally, I don’t see Dallas moving on from Dak for at least 5 years.

I think that is very much up in the air if we could be a fly on the wall.

He’s 23 with little experience.

We got a first round talent that we can develop with no pressure for nothing.

Exactly, and the FO now has flexibility to play this contract and any subsequent moves following this trade however they like.

He's definitely got a very strong arm, just seems to break down under pressure, and isn't super accurate beyond the short stuff. Who knows though!
Sounds like someone else on the Cowboys, hmmmmm....but at least he still young enough to maybe get better. The other one is 30 and he is what he is.

Schottenheimer was the OC of Seattle from 2018-2021 with Russell Wilson as his QB.

He definitely wants to get a mobile QB for hos style of offense that runs a lot of play action.

It will be interesting to see how Lance plays out and it sort of gives the Cowboys a chance to move on from Dak after this season.
Umm. Dak is a mobile QB. And it isn't Schottzie's offense, it is McCarthy's

BWAAAAA!!!!

If this is what you are hoping for, then I continue to feel sorry for you. I have a feeling you will continue to be disappointed. Maybe in 3 years if Lance can develop.

BWAAAA!!! Yep and you also thought Dak was backup material.

You havent been right about anything in regards to the QB position so why should anyone take you seriously?

Im going to enjoy you hoping Lance replaces Dak next season.

Move on after this season? BWAAAAAAA!!!!!

You are going to be very disappointed. Lance has about 3 years to develop at his own pace. Lets not rush the kid. He needs a lot of work and time.
Dallas will need to pay Micah big money and Dak performance won't merit what his agent would ask. Unless Dak has an MVP caliber year with several wins in the playoffs, the front office is considering the possibility of moving on from him after this season. Lance wasn't brought in to replace Cooper who's very capable as the #2 QB.

Maybe so. But at the same time, if I was dak, I would stop sitting over there on the bench sulking when things aren't going his way. As if he didn't have a care in the world. Guess what Bud. Now he can start worrying. I love it. The clock is ticking on down. Can you hear it?

Since Lance needs work. Let's name him the starting QB and give him 17 games of work. It should put us in position to select Caleb Williams in the 2024 draft.

Strength means nothing of he isn't accurate.

Says who you? LOL

QB's dont win games, teams do. The FO isnt stupid enough to blame team success or failure on one guy. Dak will be judged on his individual performances. AS long as he continues to play well he will be here for a long time.

And no, cherry picking the Niners game doesnt prove anything.

Lance was brought in as a low cost project. Nothing more, nothing less. If can learn to play QB in the NFL he will move up the line. Right now even Rush is the better QB.
