I think it's time to throw Rush in and see what is there

Garrett doesn't deserve to have his job saved and I don't care who plays QB going forward for the Cowboys with him as a head coach.

Do you guys really think Rush will last behind that offensive line? Romo had 3 years to sit and learn. Dak is on his 2nd and haven't figured everything yet. But you guys expect the rookie Rush to perform? :lmao2:

Everyone can say what they want but Romo never had stretches of bad games like Dak has now had. There have been several knocks on Dak that the dominant line and run game obviously covered up.

I think it's time to throw Rush in and see what is there. Best case? He plays well and you move forward with him. Worst case? You prepare to trade up in the draft.

At some point Garrett is going to start thinking about saving his job.
That's the problem Garrett, Prescott has won on every level and will continue to win just maybe not in Dallas.

Our last QB did not.
Our last QB hasn't been any further in the playoffs than Dak. had a 6 and 10 season followed by 3 8 and 8 seasons. Romo being here would change little. He wouldn't have finished the Atlanta game.

I would bench some defensive backs first and a couple O-linemen that are just a shell of what they were 3 years ago. but that is just me I guess.

Oh Lord, still this nonsense about wins and losses being on the QB.

Those are team stats. The QB performance is on the QB.

And we have to find out what we have in Dak before we give him big money. He has to get out of this funk and can only do it by playing. Seasons over anyway.
Exactly my line of thinking. Let Dak sink if it comes to it. We need to definitively know what we have in him and we are not there yet I reckon.

So are we going to pretend that Romo was great in this offense year in and out? Because aside from '07 and '14....I don't recall many great years in this offense.

Romo was, yes. Maybe 1 or 2 "very good" years.

Right now, "okay" would do wonders.

Romo made boneheaded plays in 3 straight games but never as bad as what I saw from Dak today.

But Tony would come back and throw three TD's. Romo could carry a team through bad stretches, I mean he threw 5 picks in a game and won it.

Dak isn't that guy but I believe Dak is good enough to win if the right parts are in place. The problem with that is it's very narrow margin of error.

When it’s time to pay dak, cut him loose and get zeke another ball hander offer

Romo didn't start as a rookie! 3 years I believe until he took a snap! Relax take a xanax
