I think it's time to throw Rush in and see what is there

Huge Dak fan here. You are not wrong.....

But in Dak's defense, Romo didn't even take a meaningful snap until his fourth season. Romo was allowed to develop a bit longer.

Prescott needs to play out the season. Leave him in adverse situations because it's the only way he's going to learn and improve.

People are just losing their minds.

8 games with Zeke: 28 points per game

3 games without Zeke: 7 points per game

Dak is, and will be, our QB. It doesn't matter if 100 flip out threads are created here.
That's the key, this season was washed as soon as Zeke went out. Last year would have been washed too if Zeke wasn't putting up MVP numbers.

It is what is.

And Romo was not drafted either, right now Dak is clueless, I mean he looks lost out there right now

Cooper Rush is Matt Moore. You guys are easily impressed by preseason...should I go by what I saw from Rush in preseason or what I saw from Dak in the regular season?
That is fine. Dak is playing like Jay Cutler or worse

Again, correct. But Dak isn't entirely to blame. These coaches have done a terrible job adjusting to life minus Zeke.

Other teams have deciphered Prescott and know what he struggles with; and they are exploiting it. It's like the Cowboys don't know.

Again, I'm not being biased towards Dak. He's been bad. But the team around him has been just as clueless.

Dak was deemed a much better prospect than Romo and inherited a much better team.

We saw that last year. He inherited a great team and won 13 games.

So we have to ask ourselves what has changed this year. I think it's a combination of two things- the team around Dak has gotten considerably worse; and other teams have figured out Prescott on film.

It's on Dallas' coaches to adjust. And I don't think they can. Prescott's career is in danger of flaming out unless there's wholesale changes.

Everyone can say what they want but Romo never had stretches of bad games like Dak has now had. There have been several knocks on Dak that the dominant line and run game obviously covered up.

I think it's time to throw Rush in and see what is there. Best case? He plays well and you move forward with him. Worst case? You prepare to trade up in the draft.

At some point Garrett is going to start thinking about saving his job.

We lose to to Wash and NY and that's what you'll see..maybe

I’m not sure if you’re new to this, and yes Dak has been bad, but Romo most certainly had atrocious stretches similar to this. In fact, I would wager every single person calling out Dak now, did the same with Romo several times.

Dak has to play better, period. I don’t think the sample size is large enough to give up on the kid yet though. Particularly not when he’s hamstring by a coaching staff that couldn’t coach its way out of a paper bag.
I agree completely DAk has been bad, he needs to improve , Romo has had similar atrocious stretches, Dak and every other player on this team is hamstrung by this pitiful coaching staff. Great offensive game plan, not. Timely blitz’s, not. Let’s line our LB up against Kennon Allen, don’t do it.I will say though in this game players played every bit as bad as the coaches coached. Total team lose. Big ? Does Jerry really want to win, or like he once said, “it’s about the show”. What a crappy show. If he really wants to win it’s time to clean house.

This whole entire team has regressed. I think right now Dak has lost his confidence and it shows. It is affecting his game play. This coaching staff isn't putting anybody in a winning position.

Romo made boneheaded plays in 3 straight games but never as bad as what I saw from Dak today.

Not sure if it is just confidence or what, but Dak is having a worse run than anything Romo went through. He isn't seeing anything downfield and is nothing but a checkdown machine. He seems to have lost faith in the OL's ability to protect him. He is feeling heat when it isn't there and forcing things.

And that same team the year before went 4-12. I don't think the teams as good as some think. A team shouldn't fall apart if it loses one player.

Especially if that player is a RB (a position that is not valued as high on other teams). When your offense depends on the presence of one guy to be functional that’s a HUGE problem. Especially when your developing a young QB.
