I think we have more than 6 wins this season if Cooper Rush starts week 1

I already said the defense also sucked. But it wasn't all on the defense. When the offense constantly struggles, it definitely affects the defense, ergo my point of Dak (and the offense) helping the defense suck in a game is accurate. We've seen this dance time and again when the offense struggles. It absolutely affects the defense in the latter part of the game. There's no excuse for the defense sucking at the beginning of the game. Dak doesn't get an excuse, nor does anyone. There's not really any claim that we WOULD have won more had the defense been a little better. It might have, but we also might have won more if Dak didn't play so atrociously this season. It is what it is.

it was the defense, the offense, the coaching, the special teams. they all sucked. game plans were terrible. defense was horrendous specially against detroit and saints, where they ran around like keystone cops. Diggs refusing to make tackles and missed many assignments. they got their arses handed to them and our offense wasn't equiped to get into a shoot out, became one dimentional and easy to stop. coaches, the idiots sticking with Zeke. why why why?

and I looked at the saints game, play by play in first half. saints had the ball for 11 minutes or so. meaning the defense was on the field for all of 11 minutes...yet they gave up 28 points!!!! that's 2.5 points per minute!!!!! that's pathetic. when you give up 28 in a half, you are in a shoot out and again, this offense is not equiped to get into shoot outs...


Dak doesn't get an excuse. defense doesn't get an excuse. coaches don't get an excuse. Jerry doesn't get an excuse. I don't care how much money who makes. irrelevant. this team was awful across the board and still is. beating two crappy bottom feeders, doesn't necessitate a parade for anyone

you clearly are hell bent on blaming everything on Dak. then you are missing the forest because of the trees. put mahomes here and we may have all of 1 more win. this doesn't mean me sayign mahomes is only one game better than Dak. this is a testament to how much this team sucks.
 
I agree with the OP ....... This year Rush is better than a one legged QB.

You are blind if you say I'm blaming Dak for everything. I literally said nobody gets an excuse. You're so hell-bent on defending Dak and worshipping the ground he walks on that you refuse to read what is actually said. I can't help you there except say reread my post. I literally said Dak doesn't get an excuse, nor does anyone. It's right there when you quoted what I said. I literally said in my first sentence the defense sucked. Just think:
If Cooper Rush had played quarterback vs the Packers last year in the playoffs, the Cowboys win that game.

Because the run game actually works with Rush in the game, and the quick slants do, too.
It's amazing what having a competent quarterback can do to a defense.

rush has done all of these things lol. the defense and the running game have vastly improved. that is not the cooper rush effect

True. I was looking at total points, which I was wrong about. We did score 34 against Washington, but had the two kickoff return TDs.

do you realize the thread you're posting in? the entire premise is an agenda lol. so when he posts that if the defense plays better w/ dak they likely win more games, and you respond that daks play was a drag on the defense in a thread about how cooper rush would have won those games you kinda get wrapped up in what the conversation is.

plus being condescending doesn't really help

I don't know. Every year, teams have games they lose or are a lot closer than they should be. I can't say it's always a product of not being prepared. Sometimes it's just the way the odd-shaped ball bounces.

And zeke did get a 4 yard run in the 2 plays mm let him have. More than 'blade of grass' you're about ready to break out.
 
Rush on a vet min salary starting and 60m of cap space to improve the overall team with Jerry actually using it, gets us better results than Dak
