I think we hired the wrong coach

I didn't get it either. Not sure he was completely serious. I hope he wasn't.
Not just the talent roster top to bottom is really good so is the coaching staff when people are In Sync they win championships 'cause they're working together you don't get those advantages when you get elevated to your first time as a head coach and this late in the game I mean who is coaching staff gonna be during the last team to hire a head coach most of the coordinators have been picked through everyone's gonna say that if this was Jerry making the last minute hire and he was hiring Keller more they would say the same things like who exactly is the entire staff gonna be working for more in new orleans and then you start worrying about the roster you gotta have both..

I'm OK with letting time play this out everyone's overreacting as usual they live in the moment you know recency bias now all of a sudden we'll never do anything in the NFC East ever again we're gonna be down for five years we're going into the Dave campo years yadda yadda yadda and I think some of y'all forgot how this is a year to year league and how Dan Quinn struggled to beat the Dallas Cowboys backups both games he could have easily lost and probably should have lost but that's pretty sad when everyone's like saying how good Washington was getting to the championship game and yet they could barely beat our backups

let's play a wait and see let's see whose roster is healthy who has some of the better players and then let it play out but yeah what a turn of events, Moore went from dud to stud, nobody wanted him they thought Jerry was an idiot for possibly looking at him as the next Jason Garrett and fans were turning on that notion wanted him gone now he's gone now they want him back!!!!.

Why is Hurts considered garbage, is it wishful thinking? He's not garbage by any means. Remember when he was a turnover machine? He fixed that a ton. He's a threat to run and does it well.
It’s “wishful thinking”. As a matter of fact, Jayden Daniels is also “hot garbage”. And Josh Allen. Lamar Jackson, too.

for all the reasons they won the SB last night, Kellen is far far down the list. When you have a top 10 paid player at every single position on offense it’s not rocket science

Has Moore been announced as the Saints head coach? And even if he is, no one knows if he, or Schottenheimer, are going to be decent head coaches. It’s their first NFL HC job.

Agreed. Hurts was pretty bad very early on in his career, mainly because Philly was kind of in transition mode from the Wentz era in many aspects, coaching and roster wise. He also fell off a cliff last year to end the year and that Tampa playoff game. But Hurts has played very well in both his Super Bowl appearances. He's improved a ton in his career. He's now forever a champion. And I seriously doubt this will be his last appearance. I would pencil in Philly as the SB favorites for next year. They have no weaknesses right now. KC right now has much more, starting with their putrid OL.

This Philly team is setup for success. They won't be a fluke that fizzles out and is never heard of again. I mean, they were just here 2 years ago.

I also agree with this. Moore was terrible here in the playoffs and was very bad with Chargers last year. He was nowhere near why Philly won. Kudos to him but to think we were in the wrong by letting him go is not true at all. This happens a lot in sports with coaches being put into can't fail situations. Kellen just had to have a pulse with this stacked Philly team and could coast to a minimum of a NFC championship appearance.

His warts did show, though against GB and LAR but those teams just didn't have enough to make him pay.

Kellen is alright but it's all about Vic Fangio for me. I'll never forget his Broncos team coming to Jerry World and spanking the Cowboys with Teddy Bridgewater at QB. That was our worst loss that season in terms of score and getting dominated.

There is a lot of Eagles worship here. They are in the Cowboys’ division. I get the attention. NFCE schedules are tough next season. And an eight home game season. Philly plays 11 of 17 games against teams that were playoff teams this season. They have to have another good off season or Washington could win the division and the Eagles could miss the playoffs altogether.

All NFL seasons are stand alone. “Pencil” them in, wouldn’t use a pen though.

their defense did a great job. the running game was a threat, and forced KC to respond. Hurts had lots of time and made plays when given opportunity.

and we didn't hire the wrong coach. he would be much cheaper than kellen whose price just went up. Jerry won the coaches contract $s...that's all that matters.
That’s the thing about having an effective running game. Even the threat changes what a defense wants to do. The chiefs did a solid job against the run but at the cost of guys open all night. The run game is the passing games best friend. If you can force a defense to fear the run you got them

i can now see the next Payton (Kellen) winning a Saints Superbowl in the near future....

Jaylen Hurts is hot garbage as a QB and he's tearing up the Chiefs Defense.
The Saints are not winning a Super Bowl in the near future. The Eagles have by far the best roster in the NFL to go with the 15th best QB in the NFL. The Saints have the 20th best QB in the NFL and an aging roster with no real talent and no real way to improve that roster for the next 3-4 years.

Hurts has a 5-3 playoff record with 2 SB appearances and one SB win. He was also SB MVP last night. You’re making yourself look silly.
of course that's a bad take and a bad description to call the guy hot garbage but he's not better than Prescott all things being equal I'd say that there are about on the same level so you can try to get him all the flowers you want for a team that's absolutely loaded that made it easy for him I mean you get Prescott that defense that run game that offensive line and they don't miss a beat we've been saying that around here for a long time that that take on our quarterback Romo Prescott saying they can't get it done using the record you can't give him the five and three record but yes he's a good quarterback..

You trying to tell me that you don't think Prescott could do that hey here's a crazy one everyone saying Aaron Rodgers is washed that he can't play that The Jets are right for cutting him and he should retire but that's funny because he has better numbers than Geno Smith 28 touchdowns 11 interceptions almost 4000 yards 65% completion percentage that was in garbage so yeah some people have bad takes but it includes our own quarterback being looked at as the reason we're not going far and it would be really nice if he had saquon Barkley a great offensive line a great defense you know the reality of a team game is necessary I mean we watched jalen hurts, threw one interception.it didn't matter they got the ball back they went right down and got a field goal that's called defense they absolutely stopped one of the best offenses in the league with one of the best minds in the league a head coach that looked like they were lost until garbage time sure looked a lot like the Dallas Cowboys the chiefs looked like the Dallas Cowboys didn't mahomes look like that yeah that happens when your offensive line gets their butts whooped and you can't run and you can't stand back there and release the ball on time nobody's gonna get open they're dropping passes yeah it sure sounds familiar you do lose games when things happen like that even Patrick mahomes remember we said this if he was on this team in that green bay game he would've lost that game as well in the playoffs...

So yes people need to stop with the ridiculous exaggerations on both ends jalen hurts is not elite he's not responsible for that record alone but he's also not garbage and neither is Prescott and when I look at players individually that they're not held responsible for what the team does around them or the coaching calls lack of calls lack of creativity it happens but if we're gonna sit here and talk about Helen Moore we need to talk about the offensive line the run game and the defense first people giving flowers to Kellen Morris if he did something that no other OC could have done, that's insane..

Some of these first time head coaches that were on these teams with this all in roster Ben Johnson Aaron Glenn Cohen to some extent I don't even know who he is he had one good year now he's a head coach and now Kelly Moore they're not bringing the roster with them they're not bringing this coaching staff with them jalen hurts. i don't think would be near as good as Prescott or Romo on those teams they should be getting credit for what they're doing with the Dallas Cowboys not having all these advantages most years because I don't think a guy like jalen hurts would have done much here wouldn't have done that even got that far we saw Prescott go second team all pro second MVP voting he should have been the MVP now everyone's crying that Lamar Jackson got robbed no Prescott got robbed first prescott got the MVP my bet is lamar jackson would have got the MVP this year.

But again shortly I agree with you jalen hurts is not trash but he's also not elite he's not better than Prescott and maybe just maybe Jerry will see some of this and we need to at least make a little bit better effort this year in building this roster.

Hurts is 26, Prescott 31. Hurts is signed for the next four years, so is Prescott. Hurts is paid $9 million per season less than Prescott. Hurts is not coming off a second significant injury in his career, Prescott is. I’m not throwing out the word elite for either one of them, but you do the math.

The concern over the Cowboys quarterback situation is real.

Hurts is not bad at all, i'd take him any day over Dak! Maybe it's just having AJ Brown, the guy always seems to make a play when he needs to

QB's don't play well with no running game and under constant duress.
Not true Dak was All Pro with one weapon (CeeDee), an aging average offensive line, and an early 2000 offensive scheme. People don’t want to admit how good Dak really is.
