I did not say Tom Moore was doing nothing.

Is that so?

I may be out of bounds, but this tells me he is pretty much useless:

Do you even grasp that he (not an OC) is calling the plays

That means Payton calls the plays, dictates everything and renders Moore but a designer. I refuse to believe that.

Bledsoe is good but he is not even as talented as Manning. Bledsoe has a much stronger arm but Manning is alot smarter.

I would like to get Carr cuz I do not think it would take him long at all to be good in Dallas.

Henson is done in Dallas. He screwed himself by losing those year in baseball and he has not made up for those lost years. With it looking like he is going to NFLE.....that is Parcells for saying your done here.

Ypu had me but now lost me for a moment ...
Bledsoe is a brilliant guy.
Did he not have one of the highest scores ever on the wonderlick???

I think Bledsoe got a bad break in Bills land and in Dallas he is having a great year....
He has made mistakes this year but so has Manning and Manning has more talent and blows teams away :therefore Bledsoe's mistakes are magnafied, playing in all those tight games

Yes I am not crazy... I would take Manning over Bledsoe ,but Bledsoe is No slouch

Yeah that Manning crap gets annoying. Too much movement. He is not a Dallas Cowboys so there will be no rule in his name ala Emmitt and the helmet removal, Irvin and the pushoffs and Roy and the horsecollar tackle.

Just aint happening. Peyton, McNabb and Vick are untouchable when it comes to that. Put a star on their helmet and that all changes.

Sad but true. We still find a way to get it done

the rule should be that Payton isn't allowed to be such a freakin dork or else Roy Williams gets 5 free shots on him...

The way the rule needs to go is. A QB can do that 3 times a drive. Every time after that it is a False Start and 5 yards.

Every time after the 15th time is a false start every time.

I get so fn tired of seein that crap.

That is one of the silliest things i've ever heard.

Ditto - God forbid one side has the option to adjust formation at the LOS.

It's a huge PART OF THE GAME.

If you don't like Manning, so be it, but you shouldn't change the rule of audibling, which is essentially what you are suggesting.

I would like to see a new rule come out where a QB can not go through all those hand motions and walk around all over the place pointing and doing whatever else more then 3 times a drive.

If they do it more then 3 times in a drive it is a 5 yard penalty. If the QB does that more then 15 times a game it is a 5 yard penalty every time after the 15th time.

I get so sick and tired of seeing that crap. Just hike fn ball and either hand it off or throw the damn ball instead of trying to make everyone think your the greatest QB that that ever lived.

If the NFL was to do this Manning would be good for at least 8 penalties a game.

All I know is if I was a NFL LB facing him and I keep seeing him it would make me wanna just give him the most violent hit I could give him if I got the chance intead of just tackling him
Gee...I thought you were using sarcasm at first. Are you really serious? What difference does it make what the QB or anyone else does before the play clock runs out?

The guy calls his own plays for the most part, reads the defense, sees possible blitzes, and even calls out most of the line reads for blocking...and he WINS.

That can be annoying.

What's next? Should we lobby for an anti-tackle breaking rule to be levied against LaDainian Tomlinson? Manning's obviously doing something right. Until someone shuts him up on a regular basis, he's going to audible to his heart's content.

You guys need to stop player hating. My hat goes off to Manning for being to control the show in a day and age where alot of QBs are mere bus drivers.

Amen brother....I thought I was the only one sick and tired of his antics.........It's not complicated, the coach gives you the play to run then just hike the ball.....it's not hard!

That Manning calls his own plays and audibles in and out of plays as he feels needed is impressive.
His mannerisms while doing so have the weird appearance of guy trying to be overly self-important and seem over the top.

Who cares if it's annoying? He has an edge on other QB's with his ability to read defenses and call a play to beat it. Just because other QB's can't do it, he shouldn't be able to?

"Mr. Rice, you're way too good at running after the catch. We're gonna have to ask that you simply fall to the ground after every reception from here on out."

For some reason you think he's doing it as a show. No, he's calling the play at the line, and trying to confuse the defense as well..

It appears to be working.

I never said anything about a rule to change audibles. The rule I would like to see is seriously cutting down on Manning putting a 15 minute drama before every snap.

All QBs audible and none of them go through some huge overdone drama act before every snap. It gets old. Just make your audibles and hike the fn ball and either hand it off or throw it.

Daym I will be cheering if someone like Ray Lewis just knocks the crap outta him on a play after he spent 15 minutes doing his drama act before snapping the ball.

Yeah Manning is great but he just puts on that act to make everyone think he is so in charge of everything. Getting all the camera time he can to make sure everyone sees it.

Well then you get someone like Tom Brady who does not need to do all that crap. Brady 3 Super Bowl rings. Manning - none.

What do you think bout his new gig where he is putting down the working man (master card add)???

Putting down the working man? You're joking, right?

Puhleeeease.

Peyton has serious talent, and who cares how he plays his game. You know it's a rough week when the best thing you have to kvetch about is how Peyton calls an audible.

Ofcourse Iwas joking ...
He did not write the commercials where he asked the store clerk to autograph his produce or he waits in a TGIF's parking lot then begs for the TGIF's workers apron...

Good - I'd hate to have to break out the wet noodle!

Another useless factoid, after 3 years working at TGIF, I can guarantee those green aprons aren't from there. I'm thinking Bennigans.

p.s. Those commercials are hillarious. I even have them saved to my comp. That's not too sad, is it?:

Thing is this. There are other great QBs playing and they do not do that crap all the time like Manning does and Eli is trying to do. These QBs find ways to get the play done without all that crap.

I am just gonna love it when some LB or DL or SS just hella unloads on one of the Mannings on a play just after one of them did all that crap.

All the other QBs have beaten at least once this season.
