Cooper Rush has been figured out already. Enough tape on him this year. The Rams figured him out and held him to a measly 102 passing yards. You can bet opposing teams will be doing the same. You would rather have Cooper Rush and his 102 passing yards through 4 quarters than Dak? That's just ridiculous.

I can think of 2 drops that cost the Cowboys first downs ( Gallup Lamb ) and the Cowboys were rolling with the run game keeping Cupp and Stafford off the field . Again no picks no lost fumbles a W I have no issues with how Rush played .

Start a 100% healthy Dak at home against a Lion team that was shut out in NE yesterday . I like our defense against that opponent at home with Dak getting back in the saddle .

Against Philly more of what was seen in LA. Run the ball keep the chains moving use an opportunistic defense and Rush will put the offense in position to come out with a W. No turnovers get the ball out quick .

I see lots of complaints after seeing a stretch of 4-0 by the back up . With W’s against both of last yrs SB participants and a 4-1 Giants squad .

He hasn't played well against good teams since the Denver game.
I agree with you, I would say he looked like he was dealing with something health wise after that injury in NE, but you’re right.

I’m not gonna sit here and say Dak is a top 5 QB but I’m also sensible to realize Cooper is not better than Dak at his best, it’s not close.

That sounds like analysis from someone who didnt even see the game. Two of the worst drops this season by any WR (of any team), a running game that was working and a pass-rush which our O-Line couldnt handle.

Even if Rush has been found out .... we're still winning.

I wouldnt prefer Rush over Dak, but your assessment is at least misleading and certainly doesnt justify the QB argument.

Really simple when Dak is healthy he will play. Will it be this week? I don't know until he can show he can grip the gall once he can show that during the week then he will play.

I'd might dress him but I wouldn't start him. If Dak goes in there and he's rusty and throws 2 picks and Dallas gets rolled next week. It won't be good for him.
I would start Cooper Rush until he loses. That will slow down the QB controversy thing that the media is trying to push right now.

1. There is no QB1 controversy
2. When Prescott is fully healthy and he has a full week of preparation, he gets the start. He’s the better QB.
3. The result of the game itself doesn’t matter. All teams are going to have bad losses this season. It happens every year to virtually every team. It’s the fans who create the plethora of reasons their team didn’t win. Sometimes they’re right, others not.

I wonder whether that post would get heat from Dak Haters AND Dakistani's.... But you are correct, there were health concerns with Dak/Zeke and O-Line last year and without a run game teams just sat back in coverage.

Dak just needs to play within his skill set and play off the run, it should be an improvement....but if for some reason there isnt (no evidence that it wont) then the pressure will mount and mount quickly on him and MM to go back to the Van Driver.

If he's healthy (and there's an undeniable improvement over Rush), why does he need a "full week of preparation", he knows the Offense inside out and his primary strategy is to hand off to Zeke and Tony.

unless the hand is fully healed, I wouldn't start him. no need to aggrevate it.

Do you or have you ever played any sport? I’m a scratch golfer. If I have just recovered from an injury but have had no time to practice, I’m unlikely to go out and shoot 2-3 over my first round back. His ‘primary strategy’ is most definitely NOT to just hand the ball off. Even with the most balanced attack, he’ll throw the ball on 50% of the plays. That requires preparation.

Cooper Rush has done well.......regardless of eye-poppin' or not......most importantly, he has enabled the organization to allow Dak to get as close to 100% healthy with the thumb, as possible. And now we're in the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it mode"......and we have Cooper, D, and team to thank. Cooper Rush should be the starting QB against Philly.

You said, 'if he's healthy' so that mean's he's passed 'fit' when he see's the doc tomorrow. To better Rush's production he needs to make 10/12 passes and hand off passes to Tony/Zeke.

So you're proposing we change the gameplan that's worked in the last 4 games, run the ball, open up coverage.

As for my sporting prowess, rugby, I overcame 2 shoulder operations and the psychological issue of tackling on that shoulder was worse than the actuality of making the actual tackle.

Get out there and perform....rather than this whole argument of reasons and excuses why our Franchise QB can't play and control the Offense.

NO he should not IF daks truly 100% DAK gets the start..

if there's any issues with his grip, then he sits..i agree make him the backup against the eagles if hes close and maybe he comes into save the game, IF we need offense and rush well isnt truly that guy.hes the dont mees it up hand it off type. . Sorry but Dak can do what Rush has done PLUS MORE..

40 Million a year needs to start as soon as medically cleared. Shouldn’t need to be coddled by letting an UDFA quarterback face one of the best teams in football just so he can be eased back in by facing a different crap team.

unless of course his psyche is getting as fragile as his body is.

sort of agree, yes Dak should start if hes 100% and we should try and keep the balance, but we all know if we need More offense its Dak over Rush every time. Dak beat the eagles 3 straight times by more than 20pointsl I know some say this is a new year but I've seen the same eagles making a few more plays.. daks 7-2 against the east almost all the teams most are blowouts.

so we need more balance so in some way you should pass more but not be pass happy , you run the ball but at least have threat as QB that can make defense pay for coming up and stopping our run. so dont change much but for sure with dak we can make tam pay for over playing the run.

the eagles see our recipe and have the DL to slow or neutralize our Run game, then what? I get what both of you are saying and the truth lies in between. dak is capable of being a bus driver and keeping this on track but the bonus hes beat them many times and gives us the best shot to open it up IF Needed.

@LovinItAll see at least that's an opinion that sticks to the principle.

Is the question .....Does Dak give better production over Rush? or Does a fit Dak, with a full weeks preparation, give better production than Rush?

I say go with Dak (if he's 100%) as he's better than Rush. This is the chance to take 1st place lets stop making excuses, or being conservative.

right if both Rush and Dak is 100% and ready to play , why in the world would you not use who you believe give you a better chance to win? some of these fans believe dak cant play within a trimmed down run heavy offense, he can..plus gives you threat at qb,
Its MOORE that meses this up what will MOORE do when daks back?

anyone who believes we wouldn't be 4-1 with dak at QB is truly a hater. 6-0 last year same blueprint yet dak put up more points.
