I would not start Dak against Philly

I watched every loving second of the game! Mistakes happen. Doesn't change the fact the Rams figured out Rush and limited him to a measly 102 passing yards. If it had been Dak, you would be here screaming with the rest of the jokers about getting rid of Dak!

Cowboys know who gives them a better chance to score more points, and that change back to their franchise QB is happening any game now whether you like it or not. Sulk on that.
Mistaking me for one of your Dak Hater's.
It looked to me that we controlled the game through the run....which is how we should play it (even when Dak returns).

Correct, keep the shceme and when Dak is healthy this offense will be better, KM still slid in empty backfield shotgun on 3 and shorts yesterday and thats gotta stop.

I'd might dress him but I wouldn't start him. If Dak goes in there and he's rusty and throws 2 picks and Dallas gets rolled next week. It won't be good for him.
I would start Cooper Rush until he loses. That will slow down the QB controversy thing that the media is trying to push right now.

Why won’t that be good for Dak?
The media isn’t pushing a QB controversy, Rush is.

No he isnt..really you thought that was good QB play yesterday? Again Dak is not Mahomes but man you guys selling Rush are crazy, thats not good NFL QB play its just not...we cant throw an out literally its seams or crossing routes or a play action lob..thats it. Rush is playing very well for what he is but man it takes major blinders to see him as a starting QB in this league...Dak can at least make all the throws, no i dont want KM's air raid offense back but yes i do want a QB who can make all the throws running this current scheme because it will be better

Whilst it wasn't setting the world ablaze Rush's performance wasn't bad (with two unacceptable drops)..... our gameplan was to run, when the Rams didnt stop it why change.
Limited...very...better than Dak ... no way, but he's giving Dak the blueprint to our Offense.
If Dak can step up to the challenge (and there aren't really any reasons/excuses why he shouldnt), then happy days.

Agree, Dak needs to get right, I believe he will....and when he is right he is miles better than Rush as he should be...again Rush is playing very well for what he is, Dak playing very well is a better option. If Dak comes back and sucks then we know what needs to be done in the offseason because this defense doesn't need P Mahomes, but it will eventually need better passing than Rush has givin it.

I'll readily admit I'm just waiting for the wheel's to come off Rush's bus. What he's shown (as you allude to with your comment about Mahomes), we can do with a lesser QB, even a Bus Driver, but worry when or if a team stops our ability to run.... the only problem is how Dak (or Rush) will react to that. Just hoping last year was down to a Dak injury.

Dak scored 50 points on the Eagles last time they played. I'd start Dak!
this isnt the same eagles team lol, why cant you see that?
Same name uni's but different team , different season, last season has no bearing on this season.

Has Dak had a HOF career up to this point? Not even close. When he returns, and everyone knows he will, I see the same 22.5 points a game. So what's the big difference between Dak and Rush? Not really as much as some want to believe.

What matters is winning, and I can accept that no matter who the QB is. But its foolish to think the offense is going to explode the moment Dak returns. It's not like a Brady or Mahomes is returning.
lol yeah they think dak is going to light it up and run the ball too!

Be funny if dak starts and cowboys get shut out by eagles. Eagles win 10-0

Cooper Rush has been figured out already. Enough tape on him this year. The Rams figured him out and held him to a measly 102 passing yards. You can bet opposing teams will be doing the same. You would rather have Cooper Rush and his 102 passing yards through 4 quarters than Dak? That's just ridiculous.
I'd rather have a win, regardless of the QB. Let's not forget a few drops that could have been longer. Starts alone mean nothing

102 yds was enough to beat the Rams. Period. Would 375 or more have changed the outcome? It didn't need to.

The offence put up 16 points with 102 passing yards led by Cooper Rush.

Would you sign up to those 2 stats against the Eagles?

Put this another way, how will you react if Dak comes in and puts up those numbers?

I'm supporting Rush as much as the next man but come on, we have to have better QB production
Is QB production more important than wins?

Just make sure he comes back, but sticks to the gameplan and sticks to the run first strategy that's working.
That game plan will gradually fade away, each game that dak plays, and by end of season they will be passing 40 times a game.
See dak usually falls behind, then they pass to catch up. ergo more passing.

exactly, fans and media are more concerned with stats than wins.

plus this season scoring is down with all teams, a lot of low scoring games, defenses dominating for some reason.,
yards are down too, the important stat was 10 of 16 no int's, but fans ignore that.
Cooper has been reading defenses better than dak, so things wont be the same when dak comes back.

Absolutely not but they will be linked.

Do you see 102 yards winning many games in the NFL?
I don't focus on stats alone, so can't honestly answer your question. I do care about smart play, and lack of turn overs.

It was enough to beat the defending champs, I can guess it'll win a few more games with a shut down defense, and with a strong balanced running game.

If they need to throw 40 times, not likely.

But luckily we don't cherry pick individual stats and try to make an assumption. With our Defense and run game, 102 yards could well give us a number of wins.
