It already has.But luckily we don't cherry pick individual stats and try to make an assumption. With our Defense and run game, 102 yards could well give us a number of wins.
I don't focus on stats alone, so can't honestly answer your question. I do care about smart play, and lack of turn overs.
It was enough to beat the defending champs, I can guess it'll win a few more games with a shut down defense, and with a strong balanced running game.
If they need to throw 40 times, not likely.
The only problem with Dak is that, at this moment in time, the peripheral stats are all he has.....even the QBR rating supports his yards/stats don't match the raw stats.Ok but again your acting like Dak is a turn over machine...he is 6th best in INT/TD ratio all time he takes care of the ball. These arguments are crazy "Week 1" you dont judge play on 1 game..Dak is a better QB than Rush no NFL expert not looking for clicks would even consider this argument, its ridiculous. The team is not winning because Rush is in the game GREAT NEWS they are not losing because of it, BUT if they have to score TD's we will be in big trouble because we are scoring less than most teams in the league .

We are prepared for that, we're also prepared for how the story will go,beat bad teams, lose against good teams...the Denver game last yr broke him and he has not recovered. Are we going to dismiss Daks career because he had a bad game week 1?
Cooper Rush is not the main reason we’ve been winning during this stretch. I have nothing but love for Rush, but this is just a bit absurd.
Dak is going to come back the minute he’s healthy to start, it’s crazy to think but some people aren’t prepared for that.
The 102 passing yards came from 10 completions on 16 attempts...62%. If you add the two inexcusable drops it would be a 75% completion rate. Its not as if the passing game was shelved as it wasn't working.I'm loving the shut down defence but I'd like more on offense so that if the D has a down day, we can still win.
No need to say 40 throws, I'm with you there but middle ground. We absolutely need more passing yards and points per game to CONSISTENTLY in the NFL. again, not 400 yards or 50 points but middle ground.
Surely you agree with that and don't see us winning week in week out with such low numbers on offence? Or do you?
The Ravens did it with Trent DilferYes, Dak will throw more picks than Rush but he’s also a threat to throw 4,500+ yards and 35+ TDs every season. Eventually we need to be able to score. You can’t win a super bowl playing safe
How soon we forget the Denver fiasco last year. You don't have to do more than he did when the defense gift-wraps you the first 9 points and the running game goes for over a buck-fifty.Cooper Rush has been figured out already. Enough tape on him this year. The Rams figured him out and held him to a measly 102 passing yards. You can bet opposing teams will be doing the same. You would rather have Cooper Rush and his 102 passing yards through 4 quarters than Dak? That's just ridiculous.
Dak is way better than Cooper Rush. Only the haters think differently.lol yeah they think dak is going to light it up and run the ball too!
Be funny if dak starts and cowboys get shut out by eagles. Eagles win 10-0
Nobody has forgotten anything. Some simply are not in hater mode or denial. How soon we forget the Denver fiasco last year. You don't have to do more than he did when the defense gift-wraps you the first 9 points and the running game goes for over a buck-fifty.
I'll take Dak when he is 100%. Not before then. He wouldn't be 100% for the Eagles anyway.
Right...but I'm not sure the Moore/Prescott combo will stick to staying balanced. I don't trust Moore at all. I fully expect him to try and revert to his old, wild ways. Prescott can still run but he ain't ever gonna run like he did in 2016. Too many injuries...and NOW his job might even be threatened by extended time off the field during a season. If Rush gets a win in Philly...oh man...Prescott is gonna be all out of excuses. He will face more pressure than he has ever faced before. You're missing the point.....we dont want him to 'light it up', we want him to continue the successful game plan, with his added ability to run.
And Prescott isn’t good under minor pressure…..Right...but I'm not sure the Moore/Prescott combo will stick to staying balanced. I don't trust Moore at all. What an idiotic idea. It most certainly matters who the QB is.It doesn't matter who plays QB for us against the egirls. Their "great" defense/pass rush produced 1 sack yesterday. We had FIVE! The egirls gave up 363 yards of offense! Cooper or Dak, we win easily!
Dak's week 1 performance flies in the face of what you are saying. This team w/ Cooper Rush is playing winning football. That formula should continue.Dak is way better than Cooper Rush. Only the haters think differently.
