Dak's week 1 performance flies in the face of what you are saying. This team w/ Cooper Rush is playing winning football. That formula should continue.
Cooper Rush has done an admirable job, but he's a bus driver. Dak will be back soon and lighting up this Offense once again to a much higher scoring average.

Dak is way better than Cooper Rush. Only the haters think differently.
I keep hearing that, but better in what ways? stats?
Stats dont win games, and when it comes to winning games cooper is way better than dak, his record speaks volumes, and is clear.
Do you not see that?

why do they need to score more? Just to excite you? clearly they dont need it to win.
And it is all speculation as to how many points dak will score. Only scored 17 and 3 in his last 2 games.

I'd start Dak if he's 100% healthy. I can't wait for him to light it up with Pollard, MG and CD

I wouldnt....If Rush lost to the Rams...then Yes, but Dak could Throw 4 TD have 1 rushing TD with 0 interceptions and they somehow lose...you hurt Dak Morale, and cause
issues in people minds that cant see the Defense is behind Rushs success.

I'd might dress him but I wouldn't start him. If Dak goes in there and he's rusty and throws 2 picks and Dallas gets rolled next week. It won't be good for him.
I would start Cooper Rush until he loses. That will slow down the QB controversy thing that the media is trying to push right now.

I was thinking about that same component in the decision. It might not be the best idea to put the rusty, recovering quarterback out there against the team with the best record in the league. The potential negatives might outweigh the positives.

But I counter that with the belief that the Cowboys likely need a better scoring offense to have a shot to win this game. And I feel that Prescott is a better candidate for that.

Either way, not an easy decision.

My bet is that they ultimately decide ‘he’s not ready yet’.

Dak will be back at some point this season. That's undeniable. But if that coincides with our winning trend turning into a losing trend, only one conclusion can be made... Cooper should be our QB1. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

I get your point, but could you imagine the opposite scenario of yours? What if Dak is healthy and gives it to Philly IN Philly? It would be a great statement.

What if Dak gets hurt more than he already is?

I'm not worried about Dak being rusty. He is a tested veteran, after all. If he is healthy, he should play.

.

Mr. DandyDon52. I will give you a free lesson in football.

In general, the more points you score, the more likely it is you will win.

Don't start Dak Sunday night in Philly.

There's an old saying. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You said, 'if he's healthy' so that mean's he's passed 'fit' when he see's the doc tomorrow. To better Rush's production he needs to make 10/12 passes and hand off passes to Tony/Zeke.

So you're proposing we change the gameplan that's worked in the last 4 games, run the ball, open up coverage.

As for my sporting prowess, rugby, I overcame 2 shoulder operations and the psychological issue of tackling on that shoulder was worse than the actuality of making the actual tackle.

Get out there and perform....rather than this whole argument of reasons and excuses why our Franchise QB can't play and control the Offense.

No, I said if he’s healthy and has adequate preparation. Then I was asked, ‘Why does he need preparation?’

Our offense scored 1 TD yesterday and had a FG gifted to it after a blocked punt, so they basically scored 13 points. That’s not going to cut it.

Yes, if the game plan can only generate 13 points offensively, it needs to change. Rush makes 2-3 decent throws/game and somehow that makes him the man? Oh, hell no.

Nope I dont want him to light it up,ride the defense , run game and take shots of course. But the formula doesnt have to change until we cant do it or other teams figure out a way.

Ok, youre disagreeing with the wrong person.....I say a 100% Dak plays.

DAK WON’T BE 100% UNLESS HE SLINGS IT AROUND PRACTICE THE ENTIRE WEEK PRECEDING THE GAME.

You seem to be saying, ‘Dak doesn’t need practice reps. If his body is 100%, it doesn’t matter if he has thrown the ball to his receivers during practice.’

If that’s what you’re saying, it’s hogwash. You said you played rugby. I know that tackling someone is very different than throwing dimes on timing routes to receivers that are 15-25 yards away.

I’m all Dak, all the time if he’s ready. I don’t know if it’s the offense as a whole or a Rush-led offense, but this anemic offensive production isn’t a formulae for sustained success. We saw Parsons get hurt yesterday. Thankfully, he could still rush the passer and hopefully he doesn’t miss time. But imagine Parsons missing a game a DLaw getting dinged and all of the sudden we need points on the board because we can’t pressure the QB. Rush has already shown us he isn’t that guy. Dak has a vault of film showing us he can score points.

Put a healthy Dak on the field with this defense and we’ll crush teams.

How many points has Cooper Rush directly contributed in each game this season? I'll wait.

Yeah, that's why the Cowboys will soon be starting Dak once he's fully healed. So you know more than the Cowboys?

Dak should start after the bye because he is going to need a lot of practice throwing that football along with his bad leg.

Dak's not going out there to play Philly. Dak is going to play vs the first cream puff squad on the schedule, and I don't blame him for that.
