Ro is a pure Mike in this system. He is not a guy you want doing a lot of man coverage and you want his physicality in the middle versus interior OL.

Sean Lee is a perfect hybrid guy but McClain is not. McClain is a friggin monster.

Lee: 6'2" 229 pounds.
McClain: 6'4" 259 pounds.

You definitely want RoMc at the Mike. He can make his presence felt there. Moving Lee to the weak side works for him. I can see him having a big impact there similar to Lavonte David with TB.

No need to wait to sign the less expensive guys while the work on the big contracts. It should be cheaper to sign some players now.
