I'd like to know who started the anti-Roy Williams campaign

Now someone needs to post the video of him laying on his *** on the sideline instead of attempting to tackle Toomer about 6 months ago...

When he got burned for 2 TD's by Santana Moss and the Commanders. After that everybody began to expose his cover weakness. Countless TE's over the middle as well, Shockey owns RW.:bang2:

But I don't know who 1st started posting it here. I'm sure that individual will gladly brag about it sooner or later. I was in denial for almost 2 years.

Bradie James was another weakness over the middle till last season. God I hope Zack can stay healthy...

wow

after 3 years you would think people would have found out that Roy wasn't responsible for both of them

I'm almost postive Adam has gone over these plays in other Roy Williams threads since I joined the board, and maybe even before then, when I was a lurker on here some during the season.

I found your man.

Roy Williams started it.......with his bad play and his inability to take responsibility for his bad play. It's always someone else's fault.

So if you must blame someone blame him.
man, you beat me to it... Hey, even he's admitted to poor play

If it wasn't for Roy Williams the Cowboys would of won 8 or 9 Superbowls by now-FACT!!!!!!!!1111111

Roy Williams is now being blamed for Roy Williams hate. This is awesome.

I think it was God. Roy is simply being tested ala the worlds first saftey to get killed on a post pattern, Jesus.

I would have to say Roy himself over a period of time.....mostly on Sundays

Roy Williams came into the league being touted as "the next Ronnie Lott" He looked like he was going to be that kind of player at first, but he never fulfilled the enormous expectations. I think a lot of it is sour grapes over him just being a very good safety rather than the best ever. His play last year was disappointing, but I maintain that with the improvements to the secondary and the addition of Zach Thomas (who can virtually remove the TE from the offenses game plan), Roy is poised to be the player he was before. He's always been very good, just never the best.

Roy Williams has not gotten better at coverage throughout his career. He is constantly blowing assignments and is usually in the wrong place. Like Mickey said, him getting beat one on one doesn't upset me. However him getting toasted on a zone coverage because he is not in the right place is what really irritates me and more than likely the coaching staff. I see no reason why this should be a problem considering he has been in the league for a long period of time. He should be studying his assignments instead of making exuses. Roy's problems are not stemming from his athletic abilities, but rather from his lazy attitude and inability to take responsiblity for himself.

Roy Williams cost Dallas the Giants play-off game. All he had to do was make a simple tackle, he looked totally lost and knocked Henry out of the play to boot.

What's wrong with Roy. Maybe he needs some motivation.

Here is some.....you - SUCK!

I believe if you rewatch that play, Hamlin knocks Roy out of the play.
