If a SB win, would this be the best Cowboys team all time?

Its just a hypothetical for the fans that are about to say "lets win a playoff game first".
Nobody is saying the Cowboys will win the SB so chill yourselves out.

In a hypothetical situation if the cowboys won the SB this year, where would you rank this team amongst the other SB winning teams?

I for one would put this team higher based on the competition in the playoffs and a more difficult era of football compared to years past.

I know some might say well those cowboys teams had great competition but teams such as the 49ers and ravens today would have been super teams back in those days.

Yes there were some amazing defenses back then but do we really believe those team back then would have stood any chance in todays game? I dont.

Yes todays game is different and different era's yadda yadda, but based on difficulty of todays game and era, a cowboys SB win would imo rank them high.

I believe any team that can SB with the like a ravens and 9ers team lurking about should be considered a pretty damn good team for the 23-24 season, if a team other than the ravens or 9ers win the SB.

Will dallas win the SB? maybe not likely, but i just had an hypothetical brainstorm!
It would be Amazing and Awesome!

The coaches MUST show up big time. Tweek the running game to make it easier for the O line to be in position to run block.

We MUST win the turnover battle. Which we are capable of doing.

Far from best team, BUT it would be a very remarkable team!!!!! 6th best ever which would be FANTASTIC!!!!

92 lost to the Eagles 31-7 and to a bad Rams team at home
93 lost to the Commanders 35-15 and Falcons 27-14
95 lost to a bad Commanders team TWICE!!! and Elvis Grbac and the Niners 38-20

You don't know what you are talking about per usual.

And lol I didn't know this board auto corrects R.edskins
Study.

That 95 team was not that good. There were significant injuries involved in some of those. The 92 team was the beginning of the dynasty, but that team had to find itself along the way.

You're comparing those to this year?

Lol, this team will be lucky to make the NFC championship game.

I would say your argument is completely backward with regards to a "super team" in today's era compared to yesteryear. The Niners are stacked in this era of football -- but ask yourself how a 49er fan would rank this year's team against their great teams from the 80s? It's not close. It's why the NFL opted for the salary cap: to create more parity across the landscape of the NFL and spread out the wealth atop the league.

Yes. And variants thereof. I don't understand the reasoning behind that at all.

The Cowboys weren't playing the "Commanders" for sixty years. Yet, we're unable to reference six decades of team history.

Except for expansion teams, there’s no reason for any NFL team in the salary cap era to have a better team than they had in the past. Unless the owner was broke.

When you pay attention. I mentioned 92, 93, 95 in my post and you said none of those teams had bad losses and then I proceed to list them. Not only do you not know what you are talking about you don't pay attention either.

And lol at the 95 team wasn't any good they won the FREAKING SUPER BOWL

I'm not comparing anything I'm telling you those teams weren't perfect. Once again for the love of God. PAY ATTENTION!

Absolute lameness here. 'I got smoked so this is the best I can do is tell someone they took an L to save some embarrassment'

No thanks I'll stand up and tell you, you don't know what you are talking about and have trouble paying attention. You better figure out both before it's too late.

I've been spitting out FACTS to you constantly and you've given nothing but snarky responses and false information. LOL the only person that's been taking massive L's is you.

I believe the Cowboys have had better teams that didn’t even make it to the Superbowl.

The Cowboys of Dak and Zeke’s rookie seasons. The Cowboys team that lost to GB on the ‘Dez no catch’ ruling. The Cowboys team that lost the NFCCG to Montana’s Niners in ‘The Catch’ game. Then you compare this roster with best Cowboys teams ever - and the talent and coaching gap WIDENS.

So, in a word - no.

That 95 team was lucky. They got outplayed in the Super Bowl, and we got some questionable calls our way. There were several bad moments that season, but it was a weak year for the league.

:laugh:It gets worse. They were good too. Most good teams get lucky on their way to the Super Bowl. You think every player and team gets lucky that's a big part of your problem. You are one of the worst Cowboy fans I've ever seen.

The 92 to 95 Cowboys were the best. By a lot. That OL would murder this DL and Emmitt would run for 250 yards. Truly it would be a massacre.

Wow, you really are struggling here. Go re-watch that season while I watch the college playoff. You're bothering me.

I don't need to rewatch that season I've already seen it and it ended in a Super Bowl victory. You need to re-watch saying they weren't that good and they got lucky. I don't know how a team gets lucky winning every playoff game by double digits.

The difference between me and you is I pay attention, give facts and you don't and give weak opinions.
