You want to start winning this fanbase, and frankly, the locker room back?

Take a pay cut so we can keep the guys we have and improve even more on the free agency market.

Most of us are at the point where we would rather just trade you but your value is at an all time low. So we know we’re stuck with you so take a pay cut and prove your accountability!
Love this suggestion. The pay cut to be reinstated if he just gets us to a Superbowl

why??? just why must we put up stupid crap like this. Name me an NFL player that took a paycut from a guaranteed contract..... not a restructure to help a team deal with the cap, but a straight out pay cut?

Ill wait.

Dak should take a 10-15% pay cut. Sends a positive message to the locker room and the fan base. If there is ever anyone who needs help with their image it's him.
It would NOT send a positive message to his teammates. They would detest him for doing that, and the NFL players union would turn against him if any player volunteered to give money back (which no player would).

Players want more and more for EVERYONE...as it drives salaries ever upward...which eventually benefits all their salaries.

If you are a garbage man, do you want fellow garbage men volunteering to take less? Nope, you want ur peers making more and more and more.

A pay cut isn't going to improve anything. Due to restructures, Dak has never been a drain on the salary cap for as long as he's been with the Cowboys. And Dallas still can't win or go deep in the playoffs. The only time he's been a significant cap hit was his tag year in 2020.

Greedy people don't take pay cuts. And even if he took one, that won't do anything to help him improve his game. He's an average QB, whether he's making 200k a year or 50 mil.

Take a paycut for what? So Stephen Jones can pocket more money? What did we do when Dak was on the rookie deal? How about when we cut Amari? You take a paycut at a winning organization. At the Cowboys, you take the money

His cap hit this year was under 20 million. Next year it jumps to over 49 million. If we think they had trouble putting people around him before, it's going to be much worse starting next season.

If I’m not mistaken Dak was the 8th highest paid QB this season and he was one of the last 8 standing. Contract doesn’t appear to be out of line

Cmon. Nobody should ever have to give back money after getting paid. I wouldn’t, and neither would anyone else. He’s most likely our QB next season. The end result of that season, will absolutely determine his future with Boys. Wait and see what happens then.
We're not talking about 10 bucks an hour here. When you have 10s of millions you and your family are set for hundreds of years. Players take pay cuts often in this league. Brady did it all the time in NE because he had more than enough money and wanted to win more championships that anyone else.

lol this is stupid. A paycut would do nothing for this team but lead to Josh ball and noah brown getting contract extensions. You guys would complain about Dak playing for league minimum if he plays like how he did on Sunday so why take less to still be criticized? Dak can show accountability by being better not by taking less money

I don’t believe the QB cares about perception, the fan base, nor any additional weapons. I think he’s fine with where things are at. He will work hard during the season, and continue to build his brand and wealth. More power to him. The team will have to just work around his contract, or extend it to create room. I’d guess Dak will think restructuring to create room by pushing out his pay to the future is him being all about team.

He is a great face of the franchise for Jerry. I think that is it’s own reward for Dak. I think many on this board mistake him being the face of the franchise for being a good leader.

There isn’t anything he can do to win back this fan base because they were never in his corner from day one. Most of the fans here wanted him benched during an 11 game winning streak his rookie year. The majority of this fan base has never supported him even when he’s played well.

THAT'S A LIE, HAVE A GAME LIKE HE DID AT TB PEOPLE WILL LOVE HIM UNTIL HE CAUSES US TO LOSE I say don't love him in wins or loses
