I was with you until 6 losses.

I'm off this train... Actually the train already wrecked.

The crazy thing is that even at 2-7 we could actually make the playoffs still...
It's hard to believe really.
At this point I'm numb to losing and have already been let down. So now it's almost funny.

There's a difference between being a real fan and being a delusional fan. Most here are die hards. Some just have no problem with mediocrity. And you guys are the reason JJ doesn't have a problem with losing. Sure, he'll never admit it, but in the end, as long as he has his 4.2 billion dollar team, and his billion dollar stadium, and his team is in the news, that's all that really matters. It's "great entertainment"

IMO, you're attitude is cancer. I hate cancer. Leave me a lone! I will keep hope alive until they are mathematically eliminated. It doesn't hurt you so stop stalking me. Go Cowboys!

I'm just too apathetic. Sorry. We had a perfect chance to make up ground with the Eagles and Giants losing. But we lose to the Buccaneers.
Really?!?!?
We lose to a rookie quarterback, and a team with no running game.
Jason Garrett ought to be embarrassed.
We can't win one of seven games, and now we're going to put Mount Olympus on Tony Romo's shoulders and ask him to deliver us to the playoffs.
And many will be ready to turn on him if he doesn't deliver.
This collapse is squarely on Jason Garrett's shoulders.

The funny thing is, had the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles all won today, we'd all be feeling somewhat hopeful right now. Even though we'd essentially be in the same exact situation we're in right now.

So count me in. The Giants blowing this game lifted my spirits.

Romo might still have a loss to play with after all. Finish 6-1 and get to 8-8 (while sweeping the Commanders) and we're 4-2 in the division.

Then as long as the Eagles, Commanders and Giants each lose 3 more games, we have a shot.

If the get romo back on schedule, ill hang on until they lose 10z I feel reasonably confident that this division gets won at 7-9. It will take craziness to pull that off, but the competition in this division is pathetic. No one here should ever talk about the pats having it easy in the afc e

I know....thats why one win of the 7 would have helped.

Giants have 2 losses to play with ... We don't

Might be too late. Even if Romo goes 6-1, we'd still need NY to lost 3 times in their final 6 games. The team I just watched play the Patriots is better than a 3-3 team.

Theyre better than the normal new york giants too.

2010. The last time a supposedly very talented team lost game after game. Then suddenly went 5-3 with a backup QB. Everyone credited Garrett. What if instead it was Jerruh saying that every player on the team was being watched and evaluated. Considering the mediocre at best performance since then- one single season as the outlier-I think we can safely say that without Tony Jason Garrett is nothing as a HC.

OK, lets see, I would like to see the combinations that would get the Cowboys into the playoffs! I believe that the Cowboys have about a 30% chance of making it.

The best we could do last year was 6 in a row.
I see that as our max this year.

let's try to win one game first.
The team we play next week on the road just beat Philly in Philly....and then 4 days later we have Carolina.
lol
oh boy

Man I liked Jason, thought he really turned a corner last year. But to go 0-7.. sure a lot of it falls on the players and mistakes, but you don't go winless in 7 games without it falling a fair amount on the coaching.

I still see one of the most uncreative offenses in the NFL. I still see us running into 8-9 man boxes from the same formations the previous teams sat on and run blitzed previously. I still see us running these ridiculous 3 yard outs that are 5 yards short of the chains.

The DL is underachieving but it's hard to argue with 10 points.

I think Jason is more "old school" and it's hurting him. He still believes this is about talent vs. talent when it's actually scheme vs scheme maximizing your talent. The good offenses throw in wrinkles every week to take advantage of the other teams defensive weaknesses.

Romo does it, and it's painfully obvious now that the real OC on this team is Tony.

Let's sweep the Skins, win as many games as we can, and see what happens. Right now we're looking like the worst team in the NFL, so there is no place to go but up.
