Maybe something in Dallas will validate my ridiculous claim. I love those that say "Well lookie what he did in San Fran. Lookie what he did in Philthy!!"

ZZZ... There is no fire where you're blowing this smoke.

The moment you're able to really look beyond your hatred for one player you'll realize the other 52 players on the team that are just as accountable as the person you like to poke pins into all day long. Until you realize that one player cannot influence 52 others, you will continue to feed into the negativism instigated by the phoney media machine that is BSPN and fill this board with lame threads that serve no purpose. Some might call this thread "lame/serves no purpose". Everyone is entitled to an opinion. You know what they say about those...

TO, like many others on this team, wants to win. His desire to win is often placed on display the media as they search for that next headline making photo op. The criticism is over the top and that pink elephant everyone is looking for in Dallas must have been retained in San Fran or Philthy.

The purpose of this post is not to convince anyone to suddenly find their hidden love for TO. It is to simply point out that he hasn't been half as bad as some would like and has actually been just as good, if not better, than others expected. As the old saying goes, he is what he is. That's a primadonna WR that loves him some him and loves to score TDs. For the most part, that's 70% of the WR at this level. His play on the field speaks for itself even under the constraints of a offensive coordinator that lacks basic creativity. His conduct off the field hasn't been anywhere close to what should be considered worthy of your intense hatred...

Feel free to do what you do. You know my flame retardant suit is always on. I've said my piece. :starspin

First of all.

Isn't it 'said my peace'?

And second of all.

You have been 'saying this peace' for like a month now.

Do you even know any other players on this team?

We get it, you like Terrell Owens.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I have mostly been staying out of the wealth of anti- threads and only posting when I could no longer resist.

Yes. Plenty. Point?

You sure do crack yourself up a lot. If I type this enough times it will strengthen my point.

For the record: I'm not going to make any claims to virtually spank the next person that says anything negative about TO. My internet chest isn't the same size as my real chest. :D I was hoping for some civilized discussion.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

About what?

What kind of discussion were you looking for that you haven't already had 1330 times on this board in the last month.

You got a fetish or something for #81.

I definitely wasn't counting on civilized discussion from you. ;) If I am one side of the spectrum you are definitely the polar opposite on this topic.

Buying into a theory that a single player is powerful enough to divide a team of 52 other players and the coaching staff is for ******** people. No wonder the media came up with it.

I know you don't need any help but this thread will follow a typical road.

They'll be three main points for them make.

You are a TO and not a Cowboy fan.
You LOVE TO in some homosexual way.
Your just too stupid to see the damage he does.

I see two have already been done.

Wait for the third, it will be along soon.

If they really think those things then they're sadly mistaken. I can't help them with that. What I can do is support not one but all 53 players on this team. Like it or not, TO is an integral part of this team.

How about this and this is where I fundamentally disagree with TO supporters...and I supported for him for the longest time.

Their is such a thing as a cancer. There is such a thing as team chemistry. It can be poo pooed, and one man can't do this and one man can't do that.

If that were true there are basically 31 GMs out there who are complete idiots. If I am not mistaken, TO was not highly sought after when he was released by the Eagles. If my memory serves me correctly Jerry was bidding against himself (I vaguely remember some Denver mention...but not sure). Plus, I remember all the Dallas is his last chance talk as well.

If TO is as great as people say he is, and one man can not have a negative impact on the team then I am left to wonder why no one but Jerry was really interested?

I see your point but what does that have to do with his performance since he has been a Cowboy?

Given the baggage left behind in Philthy it doesn't surprise me at all that he wasn't heavily sought after. Do you honestly believe for one moment that McNabb is some choir boy? He's far from perfect. I can easily see that. However, that's not far off from most of us.

You sound like I have felt since the end of the season. Welcome to the party.

I have yet to see any civilized discussion though. This was my attempt. If it fails miserably then so be it.

Don't kid yourself,

If Jerry cut TO, he'd be signed before the cut showed up on the NFL website...

I am not knocking his performance, I believe he is a bad influence on the team. If being a choir boy is the standard then you are onto something, but that is not what we are looking for here.

There is a difference between a TEAM and a collection of players. I believe TO being with the organization gears the Cowboys towards being more of the latter and less of the former.

I think there's a lot of truth to that unless the team that picks him up would have to worry about his contract. In that case, the prospects might not be as swift as initially thought.

a few problems

#1 if we cut him that would be 3 different teams that got rid of him. why if he's so good?

#2 he'd want a lot of money

#3 he turns i believe 36 next season

#4 he is a Can....

It's official, Terrell Owens is now more toxic and brings out the worst in posters than Quincy Carter.

People just need to realize that not everyone is going to view a certain player like they do and just move on.

The main problem is that proponents of Terrell Owens don't think he does anything wrong and the opponents of Terrell Owens think he does everything wrong.
