Would you prefer "saint"? I'm sure you would.

I have no "expectations," other than you performing a colonoscopy on TO with your head. I'll try to find a clothespin for your nose.

Yeah, right. "Crimes" explain why Frisco and Philly couldn't wait to boot his ***.

So basically he has to burn down an orphanage before you notice that something's amiss. Nice.

The teammate he accused of being gay? Typical scumbag tactic.

Yep. It's official. You're a psychopath.

Your anti-Owens obsession is scary.

By the way, if the 49ers "couldn't wait to boot his ***," why did he stay there for 8 years? Doesn't sound like "couldn't wait" to me. In fact, had he not demanded a trade, he would've been back for a 9th season.

And poor Jeff Garcia, I feel so bad for him:

Who's the scumbag, the drunk driving, underage chick-booze-providing, cheat-on-fiance', call-Owens-during-2003-season-a-"sickness"-in-the-press-unprovoked weasel, or the guy who suggests the drunk driving, fiance'-cheating sleaze might be gay?

And your pro-Owens obsession isn't scary???

My goodness man! At least six billion people on the planet can't all Google "bbgun" and have numerous results pop up which illustrate his stance on Terrell Owens. Could you state the same for yourself?

:lmao2: I was trying to have a civil TO discussion thread and you're about to drive a dump truck right through the center of it.

Self-confessed TO groupie calls someone else "scary." In the words of Silverbear, chuckle.

The Soviets have nothing on you when it comes to revisionist history. Get back to me when he leaves any team voluntarily.

That's because I use the same handle on many different message boards.

Besides which, it's a lot healthier to be a crusade for defense as opposed to a crusade for unjust persecution.

As if Terrell Owens doesn't get enough ignorant hatred...

Well, if we were to travel back to 2003 I could say "right now." Owens requested a trade after his agent botched the paperwork (or the team forgot to notify him...depends on who you ask). I'd say that's leaving the team voluntarily, wouldn't you?

After all, he VOLUNTEERED to leave. That's why he asked for the trade. So that he could leave.

Wow. A pro-TO post from Bleu. I haven't seen one of those in like, five seconds.

:laugh2: I know. What is he on TO's payroll? MANY people here don't "hate" TO, they just see that he has caused problems in the past on teams and that his comments this year certainly didn't help. Neither did drops or giving up on passes and routes at times. He is a talent who also made plays. Talent wasn't our big issue, the "me first attitude" was certainly a problem. That's what everyone is obviously sick of from TO. Bleu, I'm still waiting for you to acknowledge ANYTHING negative about St. Owens. We've seen your ability to criticize Romo. Some of that is certainly deserved, but why is TO beyond criticism? Be fair. Oh wait, "You're either for him or against him" in your mind right? Most of us just want his BS to stop and have him act like a vet who places winning and the team above his "touches" etc. Do you think his actions in San Fran and Philly were fiction? The thing is, I agree with most of your football analysis on other topics, but you seem to lose all objectivity when it comes to TO. I don't get it, does he have scandalous pictures of you or something so you feel the need to defend him to the end?

great post. I like T.O. but I'm off his bandwagon. He's just draining at the end of the day. At some point you just want more production and less talking.

I also see that he has been a contributor to problems in the past on other teams. The guy isn't perfect by any means. I get that. What I don't get is the undue criticism based upon assumptions that are really unfounded. A rumor is still a rumor until someone comes out and verifies it. To this day no one has verified any of the garbage that the media was spreading about the team. That has to hold some water. Perhaps they're more of a team than we thought...

About TO, believe it or not I do see some faults with him. I'll name a couple.

Dropsies - When he had the torn tendon I was a staunch supporter of the onslaught against his drops. Last year his performance was excellent after having had the finger repaired. This year there were times when he just flat out dropped the ball at some crucial times and each time it happened my heart sunk. He's one of the greatest WRs to ever play the game and we need those clutch catches. On the other hand, he also made some big catches as well... But the drops affected me just as much as the next person.

Media Darling - This comes from a need for attention. I would venture to say that if he were a married man he would have the same need to feed the media with face time. Marriage tends to settle a person down. Now that we know that's probably not going to happen anytime soon... let me get back on topic. His press conferences have occasionally made me cringe (not as much this year). Due to the simple fact that I, as well as many of you, know what he brings to the table on the field. All that extra stuff in front of the mic is uncalled for. With the exception of the Deion interview, he really scaled the mic time down this year. Good call on his part.

Honestly, that’s it for me. Those are the two things that irk me about TO. To me, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

I need to hate TO to not want him on this team. I actually love the type of player he is but I don't want him on this team anymore. The simple reason I don't is because he is more of a risk than a reward, IMHO. People are not afraid of him the way they were. Dallas has enough weapons. Dallas' offense is to spread it around and not feed it to one guy one a regular basis. TO would be great for a Baltimore or something, but in Dallas he is not nearly as useful.

So what you get out of letting him go (granted, not this year because of his contract) is cap reduction and less media focus. Those are pretty useful. What you lose is two or three touchdowns possibly. Sooner or later, the TO experience will blow up. I don't think much of anybody see's it ending happily and mutually. Don't wait until all it does is harm your team.

thats exactly what everyone is amazed by........everyone knows hes been trouble everywhere hes been.....but some still defend him saying our claims are baseless because you havent been showed secret footage of the locker room and actually seen anything..

and you claim no one has verified anything...well players did come out and speak ...they were labeled as snitches and their claims were brushed aside as "Werder lies" they have now become the REAL problems......i just dont get it...

I do know one thing.....as much as you may want to believe deep down ....people dont change...they can cover it up and hide it but sooner or later it comes out..

yes hes been the most productive WR weve had since Irvin.....but hes also been the most destructive person that has ever been on team...

I don't hate the guy and I think he can still play the game at a high level as do our opponets which is why they double up on him. Yes he gets bumped at the line and has a safety over the top which allows the CB to be more physical up front. I do think Dallas has to do a better job of getting other weapons involved in the game, I don't think Dallas can go out of their way to make any one player happy. Team has to come 1st and if feelings are hurt then so be it
