It's not necessarily a career ender. People like McGahee and plenty of others have had this.
As for the impact, it's huge. All those INTs he gets are massive for this team. Now we're most likely going to have a very ordinary player there... Unless Carter moves there and steps up, which could happen.
Wth does Manziel have to do with that?
Talk to me when it is the last preseason game. Then I might have some sort of expectation. Until then I view it as an uniformed waste of time.

It's not like we'd have much hope building through the draft either. A top 5 pick? That might be nice, but remember, Claiborne was taken 6th. Not to mention how Jerry likes to throw around 2nd/3rd round picks and reach for players in the 4th.
Bottomline is you have to know how to draft and work the draft. Even good teams find ways to have good drafts with picks at the bottom of each round. Bad teams find ways to blow picks even when drafting high. Seeing Jerry's drafts the last 20 years, I don't know if it'll matter much where we pick.
So, you don't see any positive change in the types of decisions the Cowboys have been making?
So why bother to post in the thread at all then? Is it really all that important for you to inform us all of your boredom with certain topics?
KC is going nowhere . You wait and see.
People figured them out the second half of last year .
Not saying Dallas will do any better, but KC could easily take a step back.
This past offseason, I actually agreed with the decisions the Cowboys made. Hopefully that continues. Granted, the cap situation forced their hands to an extent, but I'm hoping that's not the only reason.
...what does this do to your expectations for the team?
I have been of the opinion for some time now that even with Lee healthy, the Cowboys defense has a long way to go before earning my confidence. I honestly believe the offense is actually in a great position, but overall, I don't think the offense will be able to consistently out-score the opposition, considering what the opposition is up against. With Lee out, that only furthers my belief.
What says you?
I see trial and error by people that don't completely have a grasp on what they're doing. Whether or not it's good? That remains to be seen.
This is when a good DC earns his money. He did wonders with the DL last year.
Honestly, this doesn't change our team's possibilities big time, Lee is a great player when is healthy, but ILB is not a crucial position this days, juste see how many has been taken on recent drafts in the first round. Dallas will bet on ball control, trying to consume the clock via an improved running game. Hitchens will do ok, you'll see.
